Dlc? First - Great game! Just went to Disney World & everytime I was waiting in a line, whipped out my phone to play "just one more game!" multiplayer, stats for units would be awesome add-one in an update. I would rally like to see the 5 expansion armies added in DLC, even if it was 2 separate packs of 2 armies each (Smart and Vegas in pack & New York, NeoJungle and Doomsday Army in another). And maybe tossing the Thunder cannon and mad bomber as some free content? From what I've read about them, I'm not that interested in them, but could go over well if packaged with multiplayer? My last 2 thoughts are adding a bit more real estate to the game board if there are gonna be more that 2 players(CPU or human) to the game: 3 players - increase the size if the board by 1 more row of hexes around the board, and increase by 2 if 4 players. With the addition of MP, is it going to head to head as well as "turn based"/asynchronous multiplayer with push notifications?
Ok. I picked this up ... Hopefully the iPad version will come just in time for when I understood how to play decently!!
@Sol Munition, yes, we're planning to add async multi with push notifications. I guess it's the best option for turn based games.
@BigDaddysCreations Great to hear! Async with push would be great to play with my non local friends! When(if ever) would we see the the factions added? Thanks again for a great game- I'm picking up the actual game next pay check!
I haven't tried everlands but this game to me almos feels more like a card game where different parts of the board I erect with each other. It's incredibly fun even against the AI and the different armies behave totally differently which makes switching between them a very enjoyable experience. I know it doesn't support retina display yet but let me just say that I LOVE the hi-res icon. It looks very beautiful on my iPhone 4
Same here! I was waiting for the iPad version. I am glad I came back to this thread. Just bought it 5' ago. Can't wait to start playing!
From the top of my head: Similarities with Everlands: - attack directions - hit points - attack power - hex-based area - lots of units Differences with Everlands: - two attack types - not so many units with unique special ability (I felt that almost every unit in Everlands had some sort of unique special ability) - 4 armies, and your opponent(s) always has a different army than you - no story mode - no gradual introducing of units - support units - instant actions - multiplayer - battle doesn't happen until one of the players initiates it - you have only three tokens available per turn to play, and you have to discard one of them So, there are some similarities, but Neuroshima Hex offers way more options and combinations game-wise. It's much more complex and - in my opinion - satisfying game and in multiplayer AI is no pushover.
@Sol Munitions, we add new armies as in app purcheases. This will be the step we'll take after adding the multiplayer, but you may be 100% sure we add this. @onewithchaos, to be completetly honest the tiles and the board are in hirez, so they have the iPhone 4/iPad quality and (in our opition) look great on these devices. The things we'll add to support retina display are the menu and controls graphics (like the corner buttons). For iPad we're thinking on user interface more suitable for table top gaming, so no corner buttons and a totaly redesigned in-game UI.

Version 1.01 ‘Less features, more fixes’ is here http://www.neuroshimahex.com/572/version-1-01-less-features-more-fixes-is-here/
Ok it's just that you mentioned you were gonna add retina display support I was confused. The tiles and hexes do look hires thnx for clearing that up. Menus is the only thing that isn't so thnx for clearing that up. Great looking icon once again. I really like it
@onewithchaos, yep, menu is in lorez, also the in-game corner buttons and the hand paddle. Personally, I won a Phone 4 for like 2 days and I'm really amazed with the display, so the priority for going hirez got a bit higher now
I havent got this game but really considering it. With the units do you get some really strong units which you only get 1 of? like kind of epic units?
You do! The Clown for example is a unit that can call an airstrike instead of fighting and destroy all units that surround him. The Gladiator is very strong. He has Armor (against ranged attacks), Toughness (one more hitpoint) and has two melee attacks in 3 different directions. The Mobile Armor is extremely powerful because he attacks in 2 different phases of the battle and also in two directions. He is also able to move on his own (mobility). All of these units unfold their real power by connecting with modules, other units or their HQ... That's when they become really epic (they get faster, gain even more attack strength or fire ranged attacks instead of melee)
some cool looking units there, anywhere where i can read about the game rules? I think i am going to pick this up but I get put off by things i dont easily understand and I dont want that to happen.
