Regarding the game being hardcore. When I started first the game....I immediately thought....wow this is hard!!!! LOL....I knew nothing....
Very helpful info, because i was waiting for them to shot those rockets to score more...ok, thanks. Lol, a lot of Devs seem to forget that they know everything from the designed paths, enemies layout and the exact timing which is so important. Maybe i get there with my last primary weapon i've yet to unlock. I'm still about 6-10 stars/scores away. Btw, do you remember which weapons you achieved your score with? My score in 1-9 is 6100/5800 and what an impact on this bridge - BOOOOM! The "worst" scene so far is in 3-1. Once started there is nothing to jump on or to shoot for about seven seconds (without dashing). Damn, i have time to look around and enjoy the animation and great sfx sounds. Feels like holiday.

Gratz! Don't forget about overtemp. Upgrade will help a bit! Disruptor will be unlocked soon. And man... You will be surprised. We worked SO HARD on feelings and handling with this weapon. Our sound designer almost killed himself while accomplishing some magic about it. XD
I've been reading through the thread and watching some videos, and it seems like it'll dominate my iPhone and iPad on release. How long after launch will we see MFi controller support? I'm sure the touch controls work well (and reading the comments here, they really do) but I'd prefer to use my Nimbus for fast-paced games like this if at all possible. Thanks!
So far I loved everything...expecially the audio. If I may say....maybe it's just me...I played so much and died so much I ransacked heaps of gold....but I feel the whole 'upgrade' thing is a bit broken or not working as intended. I mean...but the first or second time I got a new weapon....I was always able to level it up FULLY right after I bought it. I never played with a weapon not fully upgraded....because I always had WAY enough money to upgrade. Right now I have over 200 K unspent gold. Not that I'm worried eh? The game is brutal as it is....I'm glad I have not to worry about gold too. On the contrary....I wish I could buy with gold steps in the progression bar...would have been much easier With VOLCANO now I feel a whole new world has opened....let's see if I manage to progress now. Outstanding game and outstanding value....I must have put almost 20 hours already. I'm impressed this is your first game....feels more like the pinnacle of a top AAA franchise.
@Pitta, Yes we know about that game economy thing. We will rase price of everything in shop, becouse everything are too cheap on this moment. Prices are good only if you pass everything in 2-3 tries.
This game is a mix between platforming and action running gameplay. This whole thing designed specially for touch devices and you will feel yourself comfortable. Ask someone hwo already played and they will approve it. xD But yes, in the future we will add support for MFI devices.
NOOOOOO!!!!! Actually I do not think it's humanly possibile to pass everything in 2-3 tries, 3 starring and top scoring it....so maybe it's not a real issue. You will have money anyway. Anyway...the game is SO PACKED with awesome things that this is really negligible. What a gem!!!
Any combos better to use than others when going for the high score achievement? Nothing new to add that hasn't been said. This game gets better each time you play. Getting all the achievements is no easy task and taking my time 3-staring before moving on. Any high score advice would be awesome!
Combos only help you to earn coins. Enemies and destructable obgects give you scores. Try to destroy everything in your path and don't forget to follow pointers.
It's up to me/you to watch any walkthrough videos by Nerfgames, but hopefully they don't come too early. Temptation. Going for highscore... Spoiler Follow the crown signs. Recognize and memorize the enemies pattern. Find the exact timing when and what you have to push. Sometimes there's even a branching crown-path, but here i'm not sure if both or The only one leads to the best score. Replay, over and over.
I don't think the prices are an issue. The grind in this game really isn't for gold -- it's the progress bar. In some ways, the gold could have been removed entirely from the game because the unlocks are what drive the game more than anything. I wouldn't mind high gold prices to unlock some things early -- because I suck and unlocking somethings is going to take forever. That said, it is what drives me to try to three star every level. The high scores can be a little too high relying on almost complete perfection (killing every single enemy you see - miss one and you might as well restart). I'd be open to some tweaking in that regard, but I'm not really complaining because the game is just too much fun!
Thanks for the tips. Really excited for everyone to play in a few days. The hype around this is real. This game does not disappoint and everything that has been written is spot on. Has all the things that make a great platformer.
Ohhhh....thanks for that. That's why I have so many coins haha. Been replaying levels only going for combos. Ok back to it!
