Thank you for your impressions, I appreciate it. I actually like the occasional simple frag fest like in the good old days once in a while. Modern FPS games can sometimes be too complicated for its own good. You're probably right that I'll have my issues with the controls, but I think I'll give it a go as I think it looks pretty cool and it has old school multiplayer. I just need to finish Oceanhorn and Stealth Inc. and satisfy my twitch skills in Tilt To Live 2 first...
Multiplayer is super fun and fast paced. If you liked Quake or Halo 2 multiplayer you'll like this. The servers are a little iffy right now but I've found at least 1 person matches pretty easily. GC really needs to step it up
I'm still looking for an Eliminate-like FPS for iOS. Please help me with making this decision to buy or not.
I think you'll like this if you liked Eliminate. Although warning- the multiplayer is small tight maps with only 4 player death match (at the moment)
I really had a hard time with the Eliminate controls - this is closer to the Gameloft style fps controls.
Oh gosh yeah, these controls are waaaayyy better. I just wanted to enlighten him on the gameplay style
Really liking this game!! Didn't seem to enjoy it at first, but as i progressed it became more interesting!! I just tried online multiplayer once and it's pretty hard to automatch add me up on GC guys! My username is WAV 80. Feel free to hit me up with a multiplayer invite.
Controls work well, just drag to move and shoot. Reload is auto (when walking etc) or when needed, good old school frag fest. Playing on highest difficulty it's quute tough with loads of bad guys to blast away at!! Hope there are other weapons to be found later too
Are there any future upgrades the devs have planned they could hint at? I'm likely to pick this up, but wondered if there would be other improvements down the road, like more players in deathmatch, other online modes, new levels and such?
