First 2-3 levels I had problems too. But now I can move, aim and shoot very easy On OUYA with gamepad controls much harder than touchscreen.
Yeah I'm of the same sentiment here. These controls aren't really any better or worse than other iOS FPS's, so if you've played others then you know what to expect. I actually found that placement of the shoot button was key, as you can position it in a place where a quick tap up allows you to shoot without looking too much of your aim functionality.
Pretty much I agree too, though at some points this game this game sometimes has a faster pace, compares to games like Dead Trigger, which makes it harder to control here in this game. But that's what I love about the game, the frantic fast nature in mp. That to me is fun, gotta wonder if ios 7 joystick people will have an advantage in mp, hopefully we shall find out soon.
I'm playing right now, and I thought to myself, "something about this game reminds me of Eliminate." I'm thinking it's the atmosphere of the multiplayer maps. Totally reminds me of that game. That game had it's flaws, but it was the first ios FPS and brought such great memories. And if it wasn't the first, it was the first ios FPS that I experienced.
I've been holding back from purchasing this coz of the iOS7 requirement. How does it play on the 4S? My 4S is on iOS7 and i didnt like iOS7 which made me hold back from upgrading my ipad mini, but im really tempted to buy this one for the 4S and am wondering if the experience on the small screen is worth it.
the only way i could possibly recommend this game to anyone, is if they absolutely love multiplayer fast paced frag fests with very limited depth the single player gameplay isnt worth any amount of money in my opinion
I'm playing single player mode and I have progressed to stage 9, I say it is a cool game. It's fast pace at the early stage, but later on it turns into pretty decent length, each stage takes over 20 minutes to finish. Not just because there are large amount of emenies, but also because it is pretty hard. I have experienced countless times be attacked by enemies which sneaked to my back. You need to choose weapon wise, and keep look around while moving. And the game also has "seek & find" which you may discover a hidden room with plenty supplies inside.

ok I beat the game at difficult level "Agent". The game is really hard in the late stages, I won't be able to beat the final stage if one of the giant robot wasn't stuck between poles so I can sneak to the back to blow it with a shotgun. Couples of suggestions: 1. Allow player to choose the stages that has been beaten. I finish the game but the only way to revisit the stages is to play from start again. 2. Cloud save function. Player can continue the game on different devices. 3. Reduce the difficult level. It is too hard even at the 2nd difficult option "agent", it feels like nightmare already. 4. Or, if not going to change the difficult level, at least provide some "checkpoint" so if the player died in the middle of the stage, they don't need to start from the stage beginning again. Otherwise great game! Highly recommended. Makes me remind the old game "Quake".
Just give an eye on this: http://www.pocketgamer.co.uk/r/iPad/Neon+Shadow/review.asp?c=55364 PocketGamer, one of the most important mobile gaming sites, gave to Neon Shadow 9/10!!! What a great game!!!
We'll I uninstalled and reinstalled game, just incase there was an installation issue, but still no split screen for the Air. Based on at least one review on the App Store, it looks like I'm not the only one. It would be nice to know if a fix for the Air was on its way though.
Howdy! Glad you guys are all enjoying Neon and we are really pleased with the reviews and comments so far. We are making fixes right now and should have something up soon. We are looking into the iPad Air issue with splitscreen play, it slipped through our fingers since we do not have one in the office for testing. (Still no dates that we know of for it to be on sale here in South Africa.) Cheers from the jungle! Steve.
Thanks! Nice to know you're on the case. My ipad air arrived today, and I can confirm: no splitscreen.
