For those on the fence, Carter Dotson made a spot-on perfect review IMO. It explains all the bells and whistles people can find in game, along with why it can be great for some and put off others. Give it a read before buying.
I play it for ten tops because I don't want my phone to a: die from the insane battery drain b: melt from the heat.
Yeah, that's really weird. Already stated that I'm on the latest iOS version on iPhone SE. Literally don't have any darkness issues, no battery drain and no heating issues. :/
Bought. I have a 5 hour flight tonight, hopefully it's fun to pass the time with it while not being disappointed as I was with Leap of Faith which I found to be really repetitive, lacking technically and boring. The forums were gushing for both so fingers crossed....
For Leap of Faith have you finished the game once? It's quite challenging and the skills have many choice.
The game is so choppy on an iPad Pro 9.7 and so repetitive, I lost interest after a while. I unlocked some other characters but couldn't be bothered. Technically it's just not smooth.
Does anyone know what happens once we used up all 100 assets? Game definitely gets harder and even more enjoyable once you beat the overseer for the first time.
Nice game, didn't grab me as immediately as Leap of Fate (which feels much more dramatic / epic / cinematic) but this game is a grower. I can see myself spending maaaany hours playing it.
Demon's Rise 2 also didn't make the UK App Store feature page last week - it's not always representative of a game's quality!
It's killing me that I can't play this game. It's just there on my phone taunting me to destroy the battery and melt the phone just to play for 5 mins.
Have you tried lowering the graphics settings? I'm on a 7 plus and had to set the graphics to medium. I feel like the high settings aren't optimized very well, my phone was instantly hot and the game stuttered. Switched to medium and it still looks good, runs smooth and doesn't turn my device into a hot plate.
