Nice one thanks, I'll give that a go. I tried with a load of lasers early on in my attempts but gave up cos it wasn't working, but I just built a shed load and tried to upgrade them all at once instead of one at a time.
I tryed many things there, that much that I forgot what I did. Luckily for you I saved a screen shot at the very end of that level. So SPOILER ALERT: Cannons, final line, near base.
Hi orangecan, I'm happy to hear that you are enjoying this game. And I'm also considering the speed-up button to the front of the UI. I appreciated your kind feedback. Thank you!
Still, no go haha I think this level is really a bit too hard Could you maybe share your screenshot (or PM it to me)? Thanks a lot!
Yes, a single button on the main GUI would be better, if you don't have the screen space, you can create a long press function on the pause button to activate x2 ,x4. A short press while in x2 or x4 will back to x1 speed. Also if you wanna get techy and you have some time to spare you can use force touch (for new devices, or hold and drag for older models/iPads) to direct control speed while long pressing.
Y replayed it and I realize two things: you need a laser behind your base and you need to give priority to the column on the left. Here some screens on the progression: https://www.dropbox.com/sh/87wj1bx5azg4uv2/AAAccv-ERr5PaMbZxwI1W1_ma?dl=0 btw I thought I was already beaten the last wave and there was still one left, there is a slight calm before the last wave you may confuse with the end, don't miss that chance for final upgrades.
Hi gbravetti, Yes, I'm also thinking about your suggestion that you commented before. The long press function is good idea. Thank you for your valuable feedback. Regards, duetBlock
My pleasure! I would like to know if possible, regarding level Beta 3. This setup was the one that worked for me: https://www.dropbox.com/sh/87wj1bx5azg4uv2/AAAccv-ERr5PaMbZxwI1W1_ma?dl=0 Is this your ideal approach also? Thanks!
Hi gbravetti, Yes, It looks a good fortress! I have tried myself after you commented. It's too hard to beat. I attached my last wave. It was nearly fail. Thank you!
I have another audio related bug to report. While using an external audio interface (iConnectivity Audio 4) on my iPhone 7+ both apps crashes at startup.
This really is fast becoming one of my favourite TD games in recent memory. It's not perfect and it's faults are mentioned earlier but the Dev is very active and answering the issues. I think the difficulty level is still a bit all over the place I'm breezing through a few levels and then hitting one that stumps me completely for a while but I can live with that. My only real wish is that it was universal. If anyone's reading this who likes a good but hard premium TD game and hadn't picked this up yet I'd be all over it.
Here is the setup that I used. I started with the top missiles, and upgraded them gradually. Then I placed lvl 1 lasers in all various corners that you see (except the top row) and started upgrading them. Then I started the missiles in the middle, maxing them out as I could. Near the end, I placed the top row of lasers just to get more direct fire on the boss itself when I noticed that the boss started spawning units. This caused the missiles to become extremely ineffective since they would keep attacking the spawned units and not the boss itself due to their huge range. The lasers didn't have as much range, so when only the boss was in range of a laser instead of the spawned units, the boss would be attacked. You got tons of money in this level and the upgrades are super cheap too.
Great tower defense game. But instead of drag and drop can you implement tapping on the unit to place on the grid as opposed to its current setup?
