I beat level 3 easily after the update but needed to use the same formula, if you want I can share it with you.

 

Cheers for the offer but Let me persevere for a bit longer myself please, I've tried it a few more times and I'm getting a bit further on. I'm not short of cash just time to place and upgrade towers and I'm getting shafted by quick stars.

I like the fact that it's challenging me, but I do feel it's still slightly too hard this early doors in the game. I held off trying level 3 until after the update so I can't comment on what it was like before....

 

Not 100% sure but I think what changed on level 3 is the amount of cash we get from enemies.

Anyway I agree with you, the difficulty curve is a bit weird, at least for both level 3

PS. I died 46 times on level 3.

 

Im also stuck on beta level 3.

I just beat level Beta 3 The Ant after 30 attempts.

 

Bought the game. Thank you for 2 & 4x. It really makes the game fun. Thank you for being timely and responsive on here. I posted a review because it's really one of the best TDs I've played in years, & because of this thread being active. Keep up the great work!

 

I think another usability improvement could be double tap to upgrade. That would help to speed up upgrading flow.

 

Anyone had luck with the Valcans?

I'm still not convinced on the usability of the Valcan. I understand it is fast but still, it doesn't delivers enough fire power in comparison with the Cannon which I used sucesfullly to defeat the fastest enemies. Attempts to use Valcans didn't work for high speed/high armored threats even when power was doubled by base proximity.

May be I'm wrong but I think Valcans should have a higher power when fully upgrade.

Hi Duetblock, you missed my later post I cracked it soon after!

I'm really enjoying this a lot, I'm stuck again on alpha 6 now but stuck in a good way - I like trying out new combinations and getting closer to the goal. It's hard but I'm liking that.

As others have mentioned I'm really not finding a lot of use for the Valcan gun, and I'm wondering if that's because I'm using it wrong?

Oh, and the speed up button would be great if it was on the front of the UI

I just beat Beta The Boss, no lifes lost and on the first attempt, still didn't find any situation for Valcans

EDIT: Finaly I found some good use to those Valcans!

 

Anyone got any tips on alpha 6 please? Lazer 2 level? I can make it to the first level of yellow enemies but I'm getting no further.....

Level 3 Zig-zag is quite difficult. I
Think opening up the Beta section for people who paid would be a good incentive to purchase. That way if you are stuck you can try another level. Really love this but I am afraid it may be too challenging to have Zig-zag so early. It felt great beating it though! I am just worried about new players getting frustrated and quitting too soon.

 

Bunch of lasers
Start with one right after the enemy entry, then try to get it upgraded to level 6before adding the next one. Before the first wave you can get it upgraded to 5.

 

How do you beat Beta 3? Been trying for over 50 times now...

Just started playing Dark Souls 3, First boss down in 3 tries. You can now see how difficult this game is hahaha
