    Here's my review from itunes.
    ===========
Only 6 levels in, but love everything about it! The graphics are simple, but effective. The sounds are good, the pace seems to be right on. You can end the game and continue on the level you left off on when you pick it up again.

I especially love being able to split the shooting between either one or two fingers. This makes for fun and natural shooting strategies. Keep one finger on one enemy, and walk/drag the other finger between multiples, etc. You'll find yourself keeping fingers hovering above your device (ipad in this review) in a queue fashion waiting to direct the next firing stream.

Its a great defense game at the perfect price.

Hi, you sent me a message asking for a code - I have a code, but I can't send it because you have PM messaging switched off?

Send me another PM with an email and I will get the code to you.

Thanks for the code. Testing this out on the iPad....I'm at wave 21 with a power level of 15.

The gameplay is addicting, really like that you can split the firepower with 2 fingers. Been playing for a little while and it seems a little too easy for me, especially after I got the laser...haven't even been hit once yet through the entire game. Would be nice if there were difficulty level settings when you start the game...if there is one, my fault as I didn't see it, I just don't want to push that new game button to fund out :p.

Also a different boss variety wouldn't be a bad idea, or more different types of main enemies to keep the game fresh here and there.. I'm liking it so far...gameplay is really fun... just too easy at this point for me. Also some kind of online scoring wouldn't be too bad for this type of game. Still need to test it out a bit before I post a review, just my first initial impressions :)

Thanks for the code - this is my iTunes review:

    A great 360 degrees defender.
I like this game. It is polished, easy to learn, easy to play and very addictive.
The touch interface is responsive and it is good fun to shoot in two different directions at the same time.
You can upgrade your basestation between the waves of enemies.
It is not a hardcore game, but not everybody (including my self) is a hardcore gamer.
I enjoy that I don't die after a few minutes of playing.

Thankyou for your review - glad you enjoyed the game.

Agreed on the hard core game angle - this is why in Invaders World Tour 2.0 we actually have a game manager that monitors in in "real time" how the player is doing and then attempts to "offer" up powerups etc that help the player proceed. Once you you start honing the skills then the game manager adapts accordingly and offers up a more challenging game :)

I own Invaders World, it is a great game too and was the reason why I wanted to try NeoDefender :)

    Regarding the hardcore statement:
A very small percentage of the iPhone gamers are hardcore gamers - but they can be very loud ;)

I bought this and Invaders World Tour today and I can honestly say my money was well spent! This is Asteroids on crack! Awesome graphics, a Star Wars style soundtrack. Why is this game not on every idevice? It was frozen when I first opened it but after booting my phone it has played seamlessly! Awesome game!

I just got the promo last night.

I like the idea of the game and the boss battles are intense but I find the generic enemies kind of uninspired. While I appreciate the simplistic vibe I wish there were definitive differences between, say, the squares and the circles. As it stands there are just the 2 or 3 different sized baddies but whether they're a square, circle, or triangle makes absolutely no difference.

I'd also love a little more variety in the shop as it stands it just seems very minimal.

I think this game plays even better on the iPad as you don't have to worry about your fingers blocking the action as much.

So in summation I'd give it a 3/5 with all sorts of potential to be much better after a few updates. :)

Thankyou for your review. We have some imminent updates which add new backgrounds and space objects and will certainly consider adding in some different shapes and some new bosses.
    Cheers

The variety of shapes is fine, what I'm talking about is having them somehow differentiated...like a circle would have different abilities/stats than a square since as it stands all of the enemies of the same size are exactly the same but just look different.

Okay, I see now - that's a good point and we will see what we can come up with, perhaps armour/speed would be differentiators.

That adds another dimension to the game:

    - fast shapes have low armour

    - slow shape is heavy because of armour

    - someone suggested multiple weapons for each finger

    - now we have heavy gun (finger 1) taking out the slow shapes and a fast gatling type gun (finger 2) taking out the faster moving shapes.

    I like it, thanks :)

    my iTunes review as BillyJon:

This is a great game where you need to slide both of your hands' fingers on the
left and right side to shoot at the enemies consecutively. However, it is a pity I cannot move my mothership. In the future updates, I will hope I can move the mothership around and not be a siting duck to the attacks.

Hopefully, the mothership can separate itself into multiple small ships by finger gestures and group again into the mothership to destroy the enemies. That will be awesome!
