I have just received a new IPod Touch 2g 8gb and randomly the slide to unlock or slide to shut off screen appears some times separately, I have tried restoring still no help also this isn't a jail breaked firmware 2.2.1 also its heating up quickly any Idea how to fix it without voiding the warranty? don't want to go through apple just to be put on to a please hold line for hours on end. After thinking about it I think the sleep/wake button randomly makes contact and acts like its being pressed down well I guess its time to take it to the app store and have them fix it....
