Hi! I need urgent help. My Windows 7 version is running out and I have to install my legit version of Windows 7. Therefor I wanted to copy all of my files to an external harddrive and format my hard drive in the computer. Then reinstalling iTunes and copy the contents of my apps folder back into iTunes. Does this work? I don´t want to lose all of my apps, which are about 4.5 gigs of them.
find your iTunes folder, in side of it should be a "mobile Applications" folder. This is where itunes backs up all of your apps. you should be able to copy this folder and then drop it back into itunes after a reinstall. I was able to do that back in the day with iPod games.
yeah that works but if you ever need to put the apps back you need to put them in a map called automatic add to itunes or something like that dutch here so i dont get those maps in english
Just do this: I did the exact same thing and it worked when I wanted to sync from my computer rather than my laptop. But i just took the whole itunes folder, rather than just the mobile apps folder, so i could also have my music in my computer as well.
