Regarding graphics, I'm sure the game will feature much better graphics than real racing 3. I mean Most wanted still holds up with some damn good graphics and that was released in 2012

I'm not getting excited for this because I know it's going to end up being Need for Speed meets Real Racing 3. Timers, Gold, IAP, etc. Just update NFS most wanted to support MFi controllers and I'll stick with that one.

So the release date is 22.01 but we do not have any new info about the game - gameplay, cars etc. In my opinion february is more possible.

Hope your rumor is true because I am very curious about gameplay, car list and most tuning options - I love games such as Underground for example and to see something similar to mobile game is very cool.
The question is: why should I get that game if already own need for speed most wanted? If it's a clone of real racing 3 I will pass. And freemium, I might give it a try. The car designs remind me of split/ seconds. I hope they made a new port on iOS for split/second
No one stated that it will be a RR3 clone or that it was freemuim, although there is a VERY high possiblitiity that it will be freemuim. And to answer the first question, not only that it's a newer game, but since Most Wanted the iOS platform has become more technically powerful and will offer a greater racing experience than that of Most Wanted. (Hopefully)
If I ever create an iPad racing or any kind of game, I'll make sure to copy the pre-launch communication strategy of the NFS guys. Their marketing funnel is trying to attrack as much attention as possible before launching.
