The loading screen says so, and so do the reviewers of E3 + gamescom.

Well, that was only a demo, and the reviewers were only speculating, so we don't know anything about control options of the release build yet.

I'm going to hold out hope that they add touch controls. I've deleted 2 need for speeds from my iPod so far because of the lack of touch controls.
Real Racing was awesome and the touch controls are great. If they can implement RR style controls I'd be stoked.

I don't need to do a little research. I've played all the Real Racing and NFS games, therefore no research is necessary.
What used to be Iron Monkeys is the primary team developing this. The developer of the previous NFS games on iOS. Not what used to be Firemint.
What used to be Firemint is focusing on Real Racing 3.
The studios may have merged but each project that each studio was working on prior to that is still the primary team responsible for it.
Touchgen and numerous other sites have stated as such. EA has said it. As has the studio itself.
What exactly should I be researching?

And on the control issue, some sources have said tilt only, others have mentioned control options which implies more than one. What has been previewed at E3 is far from a final build. And the controls from the E3 build are slightly different to the build played by Touchgen most recently. So there is no definitive word on whether its tilt only or if touch will be included as there is still changes being made.

And in relation to your "this exactly this" point, one person making the same complaint five times in a row is not "enough of people". It's still just "one" being repetitive.

Yeah we all got your point doesn't change anything from the fact that it's dumb to not add touch controls as almost everyone here wants touch controls judging from what i've read so far.

That would be a more constructive way to do it.

One can only hope. In a very optimistic way considering console Dead Space 3 isn't that far away. And iOS Dead Space was such a success and received numerous awards. I'll even take the chance of changing from hope to an almost sure thing.
Don't quote me on that one though as I still haven't decided wheteher its a Christmas card or present yet. (insert appropriate smiley face)

Yes, get your sources to work on that one. ;) Seeing as how DS was released for iOS in January 2011 (or was it feb) to coincide with the console release, I think if DS2 for iOS is coming we'll see it around the release of the console version, which is 2013 if I remember correctly. Companies seem to enjoy releasing iOS games as a sort of advertisement for their console brethren, EA did that with DS and is also doing it for NFS, Rockstar did that with Max Payne. Hopefully EA will continue with the cycle and release an iOS Dead Space. I will personally lead a riot in the streets if its freemium, though.

Ok off topic I'll stop after this post.

Feb 2013 for console. iOS ?? Who knows?? If it's coming, just before that as it'll probably be based in the time between the second and the third, sort of a prequel to the console one.
    Also stopping now.

It's not open world. The console versions are, the iOS version isn't.

It's unique how this is probably the first title to launch on all electronic devices/stations. It's coming out for Vita , iOS , Android , Playstation , Xbox , & PC. Letms go Critereon !

I hope the vita version does good. I've had my vita since it was first released and nothing good to play on it. I also plan on getting the iOS version because the vita is a little to big to carry around

Not a good idea to buy consoles when it doesn't have games you want. At least the Vita version will be open world.

The vita had a few games that I played. Thought they would hold me over while I waited for new games. Other games I wanted were released and had demos that were awful so I didn't purchase them. Vitas biggest problem is that its only seeing maybe 1 new game every 2 months. I'll be happy when assassins creed and call of duty are released. I think the iPhone will be my primary console because games are cheap and they come often, it's only problem for me is FPS are impossible for me to play and enjoy due to lack of buttons and triggers.

I like to play Ridge Racer (Vita).
and I expect the same physics for NFS Most Wanted (Vita and IOS).

I Mean... almost the same! :)

NFS Vita is going to be the same as the PS3. NFS iOS is completely different and made by a different company.
