It's just one of those unknowns at the moment. Originally at the E3 previews, multiplayer was said not to be in the game. Lately, some articles have mentioned it but some articles keep mixing ip the trailers for the console version with this one so I don't know if its correct or not at this stage. I haven't seen anything direct from ea or Firemonkeys that mentions local or online multiplayer so I basically don't know yet.
The only EA iOS game I've ever played online was BFBC2, and that was the worst multiplayer experience I ever had on any system. If EA does implement it, I hope they do it right this time.
Prepare for Origin login alerts every minute! The past few weeks have been really nice for older games on iOS. There's been Carmageddon and Crazy Taxi, why not just add NFS:MW to that list? I want the last true NFS game on my iPhone. I don't feel like any of the newer NFS games have the same spirit as MW and Underground had.. Criterion will do a fantastic job I'm sure, but it's still not the customization heaven it used to be.
