Close. It has lots of different categories that expands the list further. Modern supercar Vintage classic SUV Everyday GT Sports. So covers a big range and choice of cars. I'd imagine the console has a bigger choice than that list as well and those are the stand out from the rest cars.
.. The cars listed fit those catagories, not sure what you mean. But yeah the cars will be different, just sayin a lot of the cars listed there will likely be in the game, can't imagine need for speed porting a game to iOS and making very many new cars..
I mean the cars list doesn't fill the categories fully and that there is a wider range. The stingray from the video on inside mobile, for example, isn't on the list. Not what I'd call everyday cars on it either as they are all overtly sporty. Basically we will have a much greater choice. Which will be good.
Ok.. Sweet. That's a good thing I guess. Although most do fill the catagories, every day could mean the impreza, or the mustang for all we know. I just doubt there will be a lot of cars not on the console, as that's just not the case with the other NFS games on iOS but hopefully I'm wrong.
I wouldn't say your wrong at all. I think the console list will be higher than that in the end though. I'm sure I've seen a stingray in a clip from the console version. And lots of other cars that don't seem to be listed on it yet. I think you're right when you say the cars will be the same for the two. I just don't think we've seen the full car lists yet. Edit, and if a mustang boss or impreza cosworth is considered everyday car, you really must give me a loan of your weekend sportscar! Please!?
Pfft, sure has hell ain't my everyday car. My dad had a 2002 Subaru WRX for a few years however, loved that thing. I just meant for a game like this, that could be considered an every day car compared to a lot of those. You won't see a Lamborghini on the way to Walmart but you'll see some mustangs and WRX's so those could easily fit in "everyday" catagories.. My weekend sportscar would be the '96 Cherokee that's leaking oil.

You're right. Criterion are doing the console and vita ones and Firemonkeys are doing the iOS version. @sicksilvo, thanks for that heads up by he way, I missed it until you posted it. Lot of sweet details in there. @killjoy, You're list is looking very accurate now, there only seems to be 3 cars missing from it, the stingray and two others. Damn it, I'm wishing my life away by looking for the end of the month to come quicker. Oh well, the cost of being hyped for a top notch game I suppose.
I love the colours and environments going on there. And the full car damage. A little part of me is going to be terribly upset at putting scratches on a Lambo Aventador. A bigger part of me is going to be terribly happy at jamming another car into a wall with it and seeing the resulting carnage. Plus those shots do seem to show a real nice motion blur effect while in nitro. And real time shadows possibly.
Just WOW!!! Except all the other cool stuff (as the full damage) i think the Art Direction from Firemonkeys is top notch!!! This is a major difference from Asphalt (and the past NFS titles) from what i have see till now... Not just fancy colors and neon lights just to be there and make the over all feeling more cartoonish. I like how realistic are the environments here with the right use of colors and lighting... I m impressed!!! And i love this sentence ''Race the way you want! By popular demand you can now touch or tilt to steer'' from the official site. At last somebody listen us!!! P.S: Come on EA.. Give us these screenshots hires....

while I'm really excited about this game, I really wonder about local multiplayer via bluetooth or WiFi. Does anyone have info about that? I'm used to play a lot with my friends with Hot Pursuit, and I quite enjoy it. Just hoping Most Wanted would have that, so I can finally delete Hot Pursuit and free up some space.
It was originally said at E3 that there is no local or online multiplayer. Don't really know if that is still the case. There is an Autolog feature that earns you points in some way online. And some articles have mentioned mutiplayer but I haven't seen anything official about it as yet.
