You guys mean these screenshots? How the heck do you tell if its the same engine. All I can tell is that the cars are reflective and shiny this time, and they have natural non-city environments and 48 events instead of just 20. the graphics look great, now for gameplay. Wait WTF the cars STILL don't have SHADOWS!! CMON EA APPLE GAVE YOU 4 SHADER CORES TO PUSH, NOW USE THEM!!! http://www.4gamer.net/games/049/G004989/20101014004/SS/019.jpg
I'm not looking for a blob. I'm looking for a shadow that resembles the shape of the car and appears opposite to the location of the sun and moves around as the lighting and position of the car change.
And how do you know that the sun isn't exactly above the car? (also it's cloudy for 2 of the 3 screenshots).
But then you should see some sort of really bright reflection right? Yeah the Zonda F in the desert screenshot does have a black shape under it that looks distinct, but I'm doubtful for now. Like what about the Lambo in the last shot? The sky is blue, but the lighting makes it look cloudy. I'm not sure. Maybe EA will pull something amazing off. It's always good to be hopeful. I do hope to see though: A nice blur effect The same amazing reflections I see in those screenshots Not on rails. At least let me go backwards if you won't give me free roam More than 20 cars...C'mon GT Racing had crap graphics but had over 100 licensed cars at a $6.99 price point. EA can easiily affford to add at least 50.
