I wouldn't be surprised given EA's track record. I also wouldn't be surprised if it's pre launch BS. The feature will probably never come. They're also telling people that Metal support is in the soft launch version. Odd, it looks identical on iPad 4 (AppSpy video) and my iPad Air. So either mixed messages from their social media or it's just a lazy implementing of Metal. I'm fact, I'm going to install it on my wife's iPad 4 and run it side by side with my Air.
I'm going to add that the game isn't that bad in terms of frame rate. The video has definitely taken some frames off.
The longer you advance in the game, the more cars you raced against. I am on the second crew in the game(joyriders) and still no cops.
Is it just me or from the videos do the textures on the games look really bad? Isn't this the same studio that brought us Real Racing 3 with those fantastic textures and graphics?
it is that bad and im playing this on iphone 6 plus. the frame drop is pretty obvious in my video and its not due to my recording device. the graphics levels is awesome and i can understand the framedrop occured. maybe later ill try this on ipad air 2.
Races are too short compared to Most Wanted and Real Racing 3..seems to be the extended version of CSR Racing
Racing the second crew now, freemuim really starting to kick in. Although they weren't lying about the customization. Unfortunately there is a separate currency earner for that, sooooo...
Whether they will add more cars? There is only 10 cars and playing the game from 1 hour, I am on the second stage and no new cars appear yet...

They told me on Twitter that metal support is in the soft launch version for all devices that support it.
Yep it is really... I will still probably give it a go at launch though! Read the thread title. It's a soft launch so only in limited stores atm...
