Anyone bought this? I'm sitting on 710 gold that I earned ingame, wondering if this is a worthwhile thing to spend it on. Seems like if you buy a crate, you'll get a random number of blueprints from 1x to 6x. I notice that each time i open up the limited time crate to view, the scrolling blueprints in the back change their X value.
Alright thanks for the tip. Btw, what do other people do with their gold? I see a lot of people buy the monthly gold card, but what do they use it for? So far i've only bought storage space upgrades, and on one or 2 occassions i've flipped a additional box to get a blueprint i needed.
Black market is probably the best use. But as far as blueprints from black markets go, it doesnt get any better than the Viper GTS, but those seem to be "good" value. I think the worst part about this game is the pay to RNG model. There needs to be an option where you can buy blueprints outright without playing RNG with the crates. Even farming materials become a crap shot. Literally not even pay to win, but pay-to-have-a-chance-of-winning.
Good advice, and wholly agree with the pay to RNG model comment. I've looked at the black market here and there but I've never been tempted, seems pointless to spend a few hundred gold for a few blueprints for a car when I would still need another 20+ blueprints to finish it off. Maybe if there were a 10 pack of relays or something lol.
question here, I can't race any of my cars in the "car series" due to having low PR's in every series, and in the only series I can play which is "Uber Subaru" the car I race against has a higher PR rating than mine, and I've tried all day to win, and no luck. can't play the underground for the same reason, 491 PR required, and my closet car is at 478. any options?
In the garage look at the parts you need. Bottom of that screen will be places it can be found. Go race those races and start upgrading your cars. Make sure your doing your dailies as well as the tournament.
I bought 2 Snoop's Challenger crates for 270 gold (need 10 blueprints to built, 6 to 3-star upgrade). I have in two crates 2x-6x cards. It hasn't same stats as regular SRT8. Snoop's Challenger has 2-star rare Bush parts giving him 550 PR (i dunno exactly) at start.
I actually bought the car for 9.99 cause I came up short at the end. I'm not disappointed it came with around 550 PR and now have it at around 570. I like the look and it became my highest rated PR car in garage so I think it's worth getting. But I like collecting the cars so.....
Cheers. The attached is where I'm at. C.110 gold off eight crates which, if the mean return is 3.5 blueprints, should return enough to hopefully get it slightly leveled up. Am running out of gold earning options, though the Mazda tournament has arrived with outstanding timing. Willing to splurge £1.49 on a final fifty gold. Perhaps even £4 on a larger pack. Will have to see where I'm at by 23:00 tonight!
You cant actually customize Shelby car get from Snoob Dog event. Real shame cause i prefer my cars in lighter colors. Oh well.
The only use I have for visual points is turning any car that has a pink option, into a pink car. If anyone would like my surplus points... Have got up to 574 gold. Can't see many more earning opportunities tonight. Reckon I'll end up running with 50 bought gold, and the 8 pack of dodgems :thumbs:
Forty blueprints from an eight pack of snoop dogg crates. None of them held fewer than three. To my amazement, I'm not feeling completely ripped off. Which is, perhaps, a testimony to the success of EA's marketing strategy...
The final set of hyper cars get unlocked at lvl 66/chapter 15. 40 blueprints for the CCX...... Underground is stuck using a 896 PR car, not sure how to farm any of the hyper blueprints without buying crates.
