Yes, you do that. This game is easily the best arcade racer, and probably the best racer period, on the platform. You'll have a lot of fun.

I second this observation. True, A7 has got a lot more content wise, but there is no denying that in terms of pure gameplay and graphics, NFS MW trumps all other arcade racers out there.

I just wanted to say that there is no pay wall on this game. i finished it on Tuesday night on my ipad. I still have to get gold on some races. It finishes when you defeat the number 1 Most Wanted.

If you only play it on idevices, of course you'll have to strive to get some of the harder achievements to unlock all the cars. If you also play it on other systems, your speedpoints will add up, unlocking cars earlier. I am still going to keep playing to get gold on the rest of the races and get all 55 cars (hopefully the two nfs cars I missed will be available again down the road). I am also playing it on my iphone, but have not gotten as far in the game.

    Hi rip,
    Out of topic.
I deleted this game last week.
How do i recover my save game from an i cloud?

I hate to play from the beginning since im already get the 100% achievements.

There are no iCloud saves if I remember correctly.

Yeah, as jb said above, there is no iCloud save.
Your autolog/ea stuff saves but all cars and races just go back to original if you do a clean re install.
If you backed up to iTunes on a computer, you can do a full restore to your device and that will put everything (all games and apps) back to the point they were at your last backup.
    Not ideal but only way.
My advice is do regular backups of device to iTunes so that apps are up to date in case you ever need to restore.

Or you can just use iFunbox to back up your documents and library from the app to your computer, then restore those when needed. Inconvenient and cumbersome, but it works.

  11. Hmmm... Well got some mixed feelings about which is best. I think both this an A7 are great games, just picked this one up on sale, so missed most of this thread.

Nfs, I like the realism, framerates, and police pursuits.

A7, I like the arcade fun, content, look of the cars, and airplay support.

Too bad this games doesn't have airplay support like asphault and real racing do. The airplay games look fantastic on my tv. Nfs, I have to use stretch mode to view it full screen on my tv, which is a shame. I really thought this was going to be airplay, guess I will have to wait for real racing 3 for that.

They really are totally different type of games, A7 is more of a futuristic arcade racer, this one a little more realistic.

I might give a slight edge to A7, but both games are good.

I have one question, had it ever been brought up if there was going to be a hood view in the future by the developers?

There is. Go to options and it should be there somewhere...know I tried it.

  13. I see a car view and street view (also called bumper view), but no hood view. When I say hood view, I mean the view where you see the top of the hood like in A7 and others. Street view shows no hood. Since there is no airplay, cars look too stretched out using full screen on my tv. But I think hood view would be a good compromise.

Street view looks nice, but it doesn't look as realistic as hood view, hopefully they will add it.

Cool game though, the framerates are rock solid on my new ipad, and the realistic 3d modelling of the road is great. Did you ipad 4 users get any new effects or better framerates that us new ipaders didn't get?

Oh...I didn't really know there was a difference :p never use that view anyway, to hard to see what I'm doing.

I don't know about framerate differences, but there is a pretty slick radial blur effect when going 180+ mph that only increases as you speed up, also it's running at retina resolution or pretty close, but that I think the iPad 3 might have as well. So just the blur effect I think :)

  15. Thanks, this game has framerates that rock on my new ipad! The sense of speed is amazing. And the more I play this game, the more I like it. Changing my mind about this and A7. Pretty much call it a tie right now for me in terms of fun.

Wish it had airplay support and different music perhaps, but dang, the framerates and 3d rendering are outstanding.

I really like the map system of choosing races, and the police pursuits are totally slick. Maybe after playing this after a couple of days, I will like this better than A7.

This game is good, love the sense of speed. It rocks!

I second the call for a hood view. Won't change much for me since I already finished the game though. I in rr2 I swear by hood view. In nfs mw to enjoy the cars, I play with the regular view.

I like this game much more than Asphalt 7 (which is also a good game too). For some reason, I prefer the feel of driving in NFS series. I do have to say I like the wide selecion of cars and the variety of locations in Asphalt series though.

My favorite NFS was Hot Pursuit, but may change to Most Wanted soon. I started off trying to drift, and don't have a handle on it yet so it felt like I was going out of control all the time. After I stopped trying to drift, the game felt much more fun as I felt more in control. But eventually, I'll probably try to learn to drift again. ;)

Anyways, fun game.. Initially I wanted to rush through this game cause of the file size, but now, the game may stay on my ipod longer than I expect. ;)
