Agreed this game neeeeeeds better controls! I can't play with the restarted control option it has atm
"By popular demand, you can now use touch or tilt to steer" I feel cheated. This is no touch control, just a strange slide control. So many complains, but nothing has changed with the update. Shame on you EA!
I used touch controls back in asphalt 6 because the slide control was crap (it usually is in most games) but it works perfectly here. You can control how much your car turns.. I think it's the difference between playing a racer on a keyboard vs a gamepad. I honestly prefer the gamepad
Unfortunately with it's ginormous file size I doubt I'll ever be able to install the update without removing other games and losing my saves
It's a worthy game and it looks great on my iPhone 4, so it must look stunning on newer devices. The cons are the space required (1,8 GB is a lot) and the fact that you can't really change the controls (eg. I like to use manual acceleration and it's not available). Still regarding the file size I really hope Apple doubles the hard drive size any time soon. 32 GB starts to be the minimum, and any next Apple device I get will have to have that capacity at least.
It's on sale for $.99?!?!? You deserve to be tarred and feathered if you don't pick it up for that outrageous price.

Okay the new achievments are glitches up. I has all the cars before the update (46), and now the achievment for me to collect 39 cars is locked, as well as the achievment to buy my first NFS car. This is pretty stupid.
Not that much... I've been playing the game for a bit. It looks gorgeous on my older-gen device, it runs smoothly (no lags while playing so far!), it has decent ca handling. It's worth $7, so grab it ASAP if you haven't yet. I haven't been able to take down any rival (is it even possible?) but I took some cops down already. Surprisingly I flipped one cop's car and it remained on track.

The only new achievements are related to your car garage. You get extra achievements for buying NFS cars and filling your garage with up to 55 cars. Not much extra...
Controls in this game stink. I dont like tilting and second one is even worse. Im pretty sure previous NFS game had more options
What does everyone think of the game? Compared to the others? I kinda liked the first one, hated Shift, and love Hot Pursuit. What kind of style is this one compared to?
It's more hot pursuit than Shift. It is simply the best arcade racer on iOS. Full stop. Amazing visuals. Excellent tilt controls. And a truly genius drift mechanic. Couldn't really say more than that.
