Need for speed the run was cancelled for ios because the console version was too low on sales. Most Wanted (2012) is a completely redone need for speed title by a new company. The achievements in this game are how you get Speed Points, and therefore your ranking in this game - so they are important here even if you typically don't go for achievements
There are no permanent upgrades for cars - there are temporary mods that you can purchase for individual races to help you go faster, take less damage, continue after hitting spike strips, etc. The option to add them is on each race after you play a certain amount of races. If you haven't seen them yet, just keep trying new races and you'll see them. I think you may have to play up to 10 new races before they show up (I think someone had stated that amount).
Ah.. Good to know. I assumed it was the same as original and just cutting pieces off just like the previous releases of Nfs on iOS.
Sorry, I don't have any good way to record me playing. I found that constantly reversing in to a wall at an angle and grinding along it works just as well as, if not better than ramming. You should be able to get the bumper off quicker that way. It took a fair bit of trial and error over more than a few attempts to get it right. Also don't worry about knocking the front bumper off right at the start. Save that for some high speed ramming in to traffic later on in the race, should save you a few more seconds.
Guess who just got 2nd place on the Bugatti Hotride Speedwall with a time of ~1:06? Now I just need "just a scratch" to have all of the achievments.
I'm missing 3-4 achievements. How can there be people who have millions of SP's? My only guess is by hacking the game, because there are not enough achievements to get to 5,000,000SP's...
It counts SP points from other devices. For example if you got 5,000,000 SP from the console version, it would show up here.
I wouldn't mind more options for controls. I've gotten pretty used to the touch controls as they are though. I didn't feel like going through the thread to see if anyone posted this in the thread. If you pay for mods then lose a race you have to pay again, however, if you pause and restart it doesn't bill you again.
So I have been looking through this thread for a while but cannot find what I am looking for. I would like to know how many of and which NFS edition cars are there? It seems like I have fewer "spaces" in the garage than are necessary compared to the different NFS edition cars I believe there are to be purchased. So far I have unlocked the Lancia, Porsche, Land Rover, Camaro, and Bentley... there are two spaces left marked NFS edition in the garage, but I think there are more NFS edition cars left to unlock right? (like the LFA, Lambo, GTR, Corvette, even more?) Can anyone speak to this point?
Guess who just managed gold for the Bugnatti race FINALLY! Literally took me about 2 hours. Damn it is hard. Used the handling and top speed upgrade and managed 1.07.36 (somewhere around that).
I don't think there is a NFS edition version of each car. Fairly certain it's a "what you see is what you get" deal and there are only 2 more to unlock.
Okay cool thanks for the input. I just saw the cars on that illustration at the loading screen and thought those were playable. YEAH WHAT?!?!?!?!?!?
