Fully agree. I think this game is great and deserves every cent it costs. Yes, you have to do some grinding to get enough money to buy some of the cars, or you can choose to buy IAP currency, but you CAN grind if you want. There is no premium currency in this game which forces you to buy IAP. As an example, I had to grind to get the $500,000 to buy the Porsche 911 NFS Edition, but I was able to do it after several races and I still have 4 days left, so I could have done grinding a bit slower (but I wanted the Porsche!!!! :D). Also, the more races you unlock, the easier it is to grind for money, which in the end you would be doing by racing over and over again if you enjoy the game as much as I (and many others from what I'm reading) are enjoying it.

Yeah, that Porsche NFS edition really is worth it. Really cool colour and great stats.
Very curious to see what the top two NFS editions turn out to be.

Agree.. And keep in mind that in some tracks the gold award (witch is easily to get with a good car) gives you 50.000... With time tracks around 1 or 1.10 mins it means that you play the same track for 10mins and have earn 500.000 (the price of Porsche NFS)... As you said this game is great and deserves every cent it costs. I have loved almost any Asphalt but this is my fav arcade racer of all time in iOS, easily.

IAP's aren't all bad. Although there are VERY few examples of this, some iAP is completely optional, and is basically there to support the developer. For example in Junk Jack, you can pay $2.99 to get a golden logo to show your support for the developers. I had no problem doing this, as Junk Jack is a fantastic game with regular updates. However, as Rip73 said, the best way to protest IAP's is to refuse to buy games with IAP pay walls. This game is entirely completable without IAP's, and I never had to grind while playing the campaign. The only time you would have to grind is if you wanted to buy all of the cars.

What do you mean by "the top two NFS editions"? Where do you see that?

I also bought all the Junk Jack IAP's to support them :D I had to grind in NFS because I bought the game one week after it was released, and I only had 5 days left to buy the NFS Porsche. I did the grinding with the Lamborghini delivery. It wasn't that bad. Now I have $365,000 and I'm not in the need of buying anything. In fact, I try to get gold medals in all without a single mod to the cars. I think some gold medals are impossible without modifying the cars, but I like to imagine they can be done (and I grind a bit while trying :D). I was able to make the Lamborghini delivery in 1:18:54 without a car mod, but the limit for gold is 1:18. I keep trying, but you need a perfect run to get in time for gold medal :p

    I'm curious too!

Rip73... Do you have screenshots (figure, video, picture) of the NFS editions?
    How many in total? 7?

No screen shot to hand but if you go into the garage (2nd tab from left on main screen) and have "all" selected on top left, you'll see the full list of cars with prices, sf requirements and whether they are unlocked or not.
Some are blocked out with a lock and just have "NFS edition" over them.
There's seven NFS editions in total, two were already available. Last week it was the Lancia Delta Integrale NFS edition and for tis week it's the Porsche 911 NFS edition.
    It changes every week.
The currently available one is shown on the map (just above Downtown) with an icon that shows the front of a generic car and a clock with the number of days left to buy it underneath it.

In the car listings the nfs editions are ranked as well, so there is one just below the Bugatti and one just above the Pagani.
The NFS editions are essentially special paintwork (looks matt black/grey to me) and modded performance versions of the standard cars. For example the NFS Porsche is ranked higher than the Gallardo and has same performance stats as it. Whereas standard 911 has much lower performance.

Thanks rip73 for the explanation. I hope the Lancia Delta is made available again, because I didn't get to that one on time. I'll check the garage now :D

Whoa, wait, WHAT??? Some cars are only available for a limited time?! Tell me I misunderstood you guys.

Btw, Rip, is the Mcleran worth the 750k? I still haven't completed the game and have the Porsche but need a better car for upcoming races. The Mclaren is the best one I can buy with my current amount of skill points.

Yes, they are only available for a limited time. That's why you need an online connection to be able to buy them.
About the McLAREN, it isn't worth it. When I completed the game my most powerful vehicle was the Lamborghini Gallardo, and I completed the last event using that car+mods.

Yes, and turning the phone offline and setting the date to 10 days ago doesn't work :p the Porsche is a great acquisition. I hope EA gives the option to buy the Lancia again in the future. I missed that one because I hadn't bought the game yet... :(

After playing this game on the galaxy note 2, I'm convinced I have to buy an iPhone 5. Let's just say the performance on the Note 2 was slightly better (10%) than on my iPhone 4. I guess it is true that games on android simply aren't optimized as well as IOS.

    Found it!

The Porsche is pretty much dark grey.

Can you just confirm if the Lancia Delta Integrale is similar to this one?
And all of NFS series will cost the same? 500?

If you have the NFS Porsche, you're good for bronze or silver in the rest of the races. Sometimes with mods but at minute, I'm trying for silver and some golds with it without mods and it seems to be working.
You'll need the SLS for some races in the second half, so I'd get that instead. I haven't used the Mclaren too much as I skipped it on first play through. It is pretty fast though and has top tier handling.
If you don't have the NFS Porsche, get it. It's better than the Gallardo.
The limited time cars NFS details in last post on page 71.
I do imagine that once they've cycled through them once, that they will cycle through again.

No the delta is different to the pictured one.
There is a standard one available, it's the first car in the "everyday" class, its red by default. The NFS one is second from top in "everyday" class. Same colour as Porsche.
I think it cost 150k, but not sure. Porsche did cost 500k but I guess the cost depends on high a tier they are at and what class.
