Cool it, buster. Swearing and personal insults are not allowed. Neither is slamming people for their spelling or grammar.
^ Thanks! I was worried about the performance for iPhone 4S because everytime a new device gets released the previous one suffers a bit. I can't wait to get this game!
Yeah I play terribly because I find it bad form in their attempt to turn what was otherwise a good racer into a slot machine. Funny thing is you pretty much said the same thing yourself.
In my opinion the only devices that will suffer from gaming performance now will be anything previous to i4S...don't forget the iPad 2 and 4S are pretty much on par and they'll be supported for top end gaming for a while
Also keep in mind that this game was in development for (a lot) more than 1 month. Probably most of the performance related decisions were already made when iPhone 5 was announced.
There's a tiny button in the top middle of the screen above the car. Took me ages to find it as well.
Thanks, found it ! Is only visible when the screen is a bit darker. In brighter parts not visible at all. But now I know it is easy.
If you look at the top of the first post, there is a link to the thread with Origin IDs. http://forums.toucharcade.com/showthread.php?t=163528
Thanks alot=) Added all of them. 14 pending request by me. I wonder how to get 25 friends in autolog. Feel free to add me, nafikacak
Asphalt 6 + 7 will never leave one of my devices, but don't bother and delete it and re-install it as often as you want. Sync with that gameloft cloud thingy and your progress is saved for decades (A7 only). The one where almost everyone gave up because of the brutally hard police chases? Loved it! Want the cops back. In Asphalt 6 + 7 career mode the hardest challenges are the duels. But A5 was even more difficult. I advice you to download Asphalt 7: Heat. Then find somebody with a supported iOS device. Shouldn't be too hard in these days. (Okay here in Austria it's pretty easy. We have one of the densest iOS populations in the world because of rather cheap provider plans.) (But still no Apple Store.) Find a buddy with an iPhone, iPad or iPod touch. Advice him or her (yes, believe it or not, I have some female friends who LOVE Asphalt 7 because it's so pretty—and the girls are really good and skilled, I was astonished and still am) to download the game (it's only US$.99) and setup local multiplayer. And if you haven't a blast then with A7 for HOURS and DAYS (literally) you MUST NOT call yourself a serious mobile gamer. Tell us of your experiences please, chipman. Who in Vienna doesn't know this lovely place?! Full of arcade games (okay, lately that's gone pretty down, there are only three or four halls left) and luna park attractions. One of the oldest amusement parks in the world with the famous giant wheel. http://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wiener_Prater (have some vintage photos here) http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Prater Okay. I draw back my previous statement that you don't know anything about racer games. You've done pretty well in your videos about that new racer here. So obviously you missed something. I've tested more than 8,000 iOS games (since 2008) and however I always (okay, once in a week or month) find out that I still missed something. None of the Asphalt series is freemium. They are all premium games with unnecessary IAPs (A6+A7). Nobody needs those IAPs. There are several regulars in this thread who told you that very fact. Please believe them, Sanuku. Everybody who ever read my postings here knows that I am VERY delicate when it comes to IAPs. Once more: The IAPs in Asphalt 6 + 7 are completely optional. You can win all career races and unlock all cars, tracks and modes easily without paying with real money and without grinding. I don't remember how exactly but I managed it to switch off those messages early. Soweit ich mich erinnere, unter "Einstellungen > Mitteilungen > In der Mitteilungszentrale" (notification center). I own RR and RR2 (+ HD + Mac) but for my friends and me it's simply too slow. Pretty, but too slow. They are more simulator games. Maybe good simulator games, but we love arcade type (like Asphalt or NFS) more BY FAR. Get that awesome speeeed feeeeling… A trippy ground flight!!! Nothing more and nothing less. Unbelievable jumps! I don't expect too much of RR3. I'll probably buy it but I am pretty sure that we will continue playing Asphalt. The physics and controls of all the Asphalt games can't be better. Best supercars. Best tracks (really!). Best software programming. Best iOS game. Best game of all time and all software/hardware platforms. Especially local multiplayer. I described that earlier in this thread. BTW Real Racing has it. Even Sonic & SEGA All-Stars Racing (pretty fun as well when you like japanese humor) has local multiplayer. I doubt that. So the quasi non-existent IAPs of A7 keep you out of the game? Bummer. awp talks about A7: Same here and it's the only iOS game where I feel guilty. Each of my three iDevices counts more than 500 hours of playtime for A7 alone. (We played A6 even longer and A5 before.) Sane over. Yes. I too never recognized this as a problem. Ack. Clearly best value of ALL iOS games. And I normally never talk in superlatives. Read all my previous postings if you want, doubters. Thanks, awp69. I always appreciated your precious opinion here @ tA. You are far too fainthearted my dear. I really can't believe it because as a (chief?) editor of this fabulous site you must have made much worse experiences with iOS games. You missed the game because of that nasty sponsors screen?! I'll tell you something: I played through the complete A7 career mode with ALL stars and points on three devices. And I never used that sponsor RPG thingy. Not ONCE! Right here on my iPad 3 I have 121.809.370 game money. And I did never invest ONE in sponsors. Personally I don't need all that RPG stuff in racers. And all of my local friends here agree. But career mode is only 5% of a racer game. 95% are the local multiplayer mode!!! Thanks for your impressions. Now guess which game got five stars and which game got ignored by some famous editors here.
