Full support for the high resolution ipad retina screen and the iphone 5? When is it available in the EU? Can I play the police? Is there wifi, bluetooth multiplayer?

    Thanks!

Plays very much like HP2 on console/PC but without playing the cops, bit of aliasing and some simple geometry (but lots of it) and looks pretty decent overall.

Feels good too, like there's a bit of weight to your vehicle.

    $10 paid and no regrets.

What a brilliant game. It's definitely much more fun than the previous iOS NFSes. Power ups being unlocked after the purchase of a third car seems like a puzzling decision though, and they seem like they last for a race only due to their cheapness.

Feel free to add me to Origin though, my username's JaydenLZW on there.

I haven't noticed much else other than visible scratches when you bump in to walls or other cars. Haven't managed to completely destroy my car yet so there could be more I've yet to see, but I don't think you're missing out on a whole lot there. The radial blur is really something though, even iPad doesn't get that.

Wait what? The iPhone 5 has more advanced graphical features in the game versus the iPad 3? Blimey... :(

Are there effects present in iPhone 5 that isn't in the 4S?

The frame rate is disappointingly choppy on my iPad 3. The game is playable but I expected better from Firemonkeys, given that Firemint always tried to get a good frame rate on just about every iOS device for their Real Racing games. Fingers crossed for some optimisations in future updates.

There are several achievements to do with adding mods to your cars - so there has to be some in the game - but it may only be certain cars you can modify in certain ways - I have noticed you can't change the paint on every car.

Should be running smoothly on that device, tried rebooting?

If that doesn't help, it'd be really great if you could report it to our support site:

I'm given the option to add mods to my cars every time, as far as I can tell. I think I had to play for a while before this feature unlocks though.

I've rebooted, no difference. I'd say at a guess the frame rate is over 30 most of the time (though it can drop very low during collisions) but this is a racing game, so a higher frame rate (ideally 60 on iOS) is more than a "nice to have" feature. RR2 seems to run at 60 most of the time and, not to be rude, but frankly RR2 looks nicer as well; this game in comparison has a rather grainy look to it - seems like there's no MSAA and no texture filtering on the road?

For those wondering about car mods, they are there - BMW M3 has mods. Don't know about other cars yet.

    Edit: oops, ninja'd.

This is no Touch control !!! This is not what we requestet. It' s a kind of slide control. Not really playable.
Just touching two arrows , or touching the left and right side of the screen, that's. Touch control.
Promising touch control and giving us slide. I want my money back!

Hey can you do something about the players with the game piracy?? i see many people on forums hacking the game with a mod to unlock all the cars and ilimited money just remplacing some files on a documents folder

this its the mod files, please firemonkey do something about this people

is really annoying to see people consuming crack applications and unlocking all free

Ugh! Having played for about an hour I've already hit a fecking pay wall - on a game that costs £5!

Also, be warned: car mods are one use affairs, costing precious in-game cash and lasting just one race, hastening the appearance of the pay wall.

can someone shed some light on if this racer has some "real" corners.. like in real racing.. or are the tracks all smoothed out like in the (imho boring) asphalt games?

I wouldn't call it a pay wall, you can get more money from the races but very poor form on a game for this price. No wonder they wait a few races before they spring it on you as pretty much having to require consumerable mods to win a race.

5 star rating goes to 3, idiot design.
