I made several games in Unity (and Android Studio) published in Google play. I'm not a professional but I think my games are playable and well-designed, especially my last one. However, I didn't succeed in making them downloaded. The first month, I only have the download from my friend when my game's pretty well referenced(but 0 vistor). Then I start having few download a day (between 0 to 10 in averages) but a referencing that has started to drop. I see lot of others games which are as good as mine with 10 or 100 times more downloads. Did they pay for that ? I'm not spending money on promotion, I think I have good ASO, and I wonder if it is possible to have more downloads without spending money. If it is possible I'll be happy to find out how you did it.
