To keep things simple I am in need of a specific font in order to help mimic a logo for a site that I am creating. I need a font that has almost no curve to it, so very boxy. Does anyone know of a font of this variety?
Never heard of that, so I don't think I can help you there. Once you found a solution, post the image back up here. I would love to see what it looks like.
yeah...you can downloads fonts off the internet..just google it..download it and put it in your fonts folder
okay...after you download the font you need to put it on your computer font folder... on windows its : C:\Windows\Fonts for mac : /Library/Fonts/ pixelmator should be able to recognize it
Thanks for the help man, I didn't realize applications could draw from a masterlist on the mac. I got the font loaded, but it only has caps so that won't work very well. It's nice to be friendly with you SJP.
If you're going to copy a logo, you might as well copy a good one. The logo is, IMO, very unappealing. The font is unimaginative, the shade of red is awful, the shadows around the tiger and the font creates a dim and gloomy atmosphere. The tiger itself is all over the shop. The body is not in proportion, its head looks like it is glued onto its shoulders and the yellow is bland. My other problem with the tiger is that it's far too detailed for a logo, it should be more stylized. Marketing 101. The whole thing looks like a cheesy 80's gas stop. My advice? Be creative! Make your own!
