Universal NBA 2K15 (By 2K)

In all honesty; eventhough I love this franchise, 2K hasn't been exactly stellar either. So called "new games" that are just a paid update. I mean I know franchise like these thrive on iteration, but really. Look up the difference between nba 2k13 and 14 for PC. Hardly any. NBA 2k14 and 15 next-gen? Same story.

But really at the core of it you're right: no-one comes close to EA when it comes to messing up games and names.

Anyway I left a comment on the TA review of this game! Let em know what you think guys. Maybe 2K will actually "notice" and do something about it.

 

Rebounding and boxing out, next to impossible?

I started MyCareer with a power forward and rebounding should be a big part of my job. But I haven't been able to figure out how to rebound properly, I'm getting something like 0-2 rebound per game. According to 2k15 forums, boxing out the opponent is a mandatory for good rebounding in 2k series, but I don't even know how to do it on iPad version. The other team is getting huge amount of offensive rebound on the front of my nose.

Is it that rebounding on iPad version is just broken, or should I just practice it more?

Does disabling the replays stop fps issues? I'm on iPad Air and getting some times when it's pretty hard to control my player correctly although the game is just wow it's actually near xbox 360 quality looks wise.. Are they adding other game modes? As they are locked atm.

 

I doubt that it's only skill points. If I autoplay games (i.e. if I select "Play Next Key Game", my PF grabs 15 rebounds in skipped games.

They'll probably add them in the future? Idk... It is 2k, so I wouldn't expect any updates. But is odd that there a locked game modes. So maybe there are updates coming

 

There will be updates. Last year they did update 2k14 and even updated the look of many courts that were still showing the old colors for some teams.

This year I'm sure there will be an update as well, since they have those locked game modes in the main menu. It's pretty obvious they will update

However, is it me or it's now worse on iphone 6? it looks choppier. Also it makes the phone even hotter than before and drains battery faster.

UPDATE: restarting my phone fixed it now it runs smooth again. Tried also on ipad air and it's better than before. Again, great game, ps3 quality

 

I'm a pg so not massively my thing but I fail to get any rebounds.. My player jumps away from it or runs past the ball.

 

Damn so disappointed they didn't add net animations for the update.

 

Does it make a noise like hitting net though? Its probably not that bad then.

 

I played like 3 quarters and couldnt figure out how to dunk lol. Can anyone help?

yes, there is but when playing in silent mode, net animations will make a big diff

What device are you playing on? Wondering if this runs fine on a 5S

 

6 plus. It is an amazing game man, but I dont know how much you would like it with that screen size. The 6 plus has replaced my tablet pretty much though. Gaming on it is amazing...

 

I went to AT&T yesterday and they told me that it would be a month before they have 6's or Plus's so now it's a waiting game.

 

Walk into an Apple store, thats what I did. There was a lot but this is the first time they actually had some since launch.
