Universal NBA 2K15 (By 2K)

And talking about NHL 2K, still not released even though it was scheduled to be out 2 weeks ago. I agree, I hope NHL 2K is has good has NBA 2k15 cause right now, wow, awesome game.

 

5 or 5s? Waiting for confirmation on both, because in my experience the oldest gen they mention support for can technically/theoretically run said game, but in reality can barely run the said the game because of age and wear and tear of components. They say they can anyway to rake in those extra bucks.

So iPad air owners should hold off on buying this?

 

I was under the impression that this game had external controller support. Tried using steelseries stratus on an ipad mini retina and it doesnt seem to work/detect.

Does anybody know if it really does support mfi controllers?

I have an iPad Air and just picked this up today. Granted I've only played one game so far but it ran fine as far as could tell. BIG improvement over last year for certain. I am praying that NHL 2K 15 comes out soon and is as good as this. I'm much more of a hockey fan than basketball.

 

I want to pick this up on my 5s, but the app store reviews are pretty bad. Anyone know why? I know I shouldn't trust them, just being cautious though. 2K tends to ignore the issues with their ios games

 

graphics looks console quality

EA should learn a thing from NBA2K15, instead of still using the ancient PS2 engine for Fifa 15

hopefully the dev will update NBA2K15 with optimisations for iphone 6/+, currently it is only stated as optimised for iphone 5

Have you updated to the latest ios8? the old versions of ios 8 bugged up the mfi controller settings so yeah.

 

Working perfectly on my 5s. It does suck battery like nothing else. I started a game at 89%, had to leave it during the 3rd quarter, had 50% battery left.

 

Cheers for letting me/us know. Still on the fence due to 2K's bad update trackrecord.

Soundtrack and sound effects are easily the best on handhelds.Needs some optimization but otherwise bring on 2k15!

Also why aren't they using metal,that's bound to give them major performance boost barely 10 games on the appstore support metal.

 

Hi. I'm wondering how the controls are here? Was there a tutorial that I wasn't able to notice? o.o

I wanted to toggle between running and walking, as well as be able to hard defend (like in consoles)

 

Can you play as all the team? Switch characters in defence and you are always in control of the ball on offence?

From sanuku's vid it looked like you just control One character..

 

I believe that is only in mycareer. In the other game modes you play the whole team. I will confirm as its downloading now!

 

Yes, you are able to. You were watching the MyCareer mode in the game, thats why Sanuku was only controlling his player
