You need the three resources to build more trees, including a certain number of water and minerals for each type of tree you are trying to build.
Sorry for not explaining well enough. It will help us a lot if you tell us what can be improved in the tutorial. I will try to explain everything here. - First rule: You can plant only over your conquered territory (green land) - Second rule: All trees must be connected to the center. There are different kinds of trees: - Roots, that are the brown diamond on the menu, expand the territory, you can plant over empty tiles on your conquered land (green) - Water tree, blue drop on the menu, extracts water from the ground, must be planted over blue swirls that are on your conquered land - Mineral tree, yellow square on the menu, extracts minerals from the ground, must be planted over yellow squares over your land - Protector tree, pink shield on the menu, shoots nearby enemies, you can plant it over empty tiles on your land - Life trees, white circle on the menu, creates more seeds to plant more trees, plant it over tiles that have stars and are on your land. Empty tiles mean they do not have any blue swirls, yellow squares or white stars, they are just green. Planting requires 2 taps. One to select the tree and another to confirm. Each tree has a different cost to be planted, cost is represented on minerals, water and seeds. The cost of each tree is indicated in the info panel on the tree menu. The total resources you have is displayed on the top right black bar on the UI of the game. Hope this helps.
So am I correct in saying that once you have a great build order down then there is pretty much nothing else ? Anyone that has some experience with the game already
Just bought this last night. But had no idea where to start. Thanks for all the info. Color coordination is always a plus.
Wow, this game is much harder than it appears. I didn't have any trouble beating 15 minutes on Apprentice, but how in the world do you defend the shrines? The first enemy location is randomized, and I can't figure out a way to expand fast enough. The shrines are so far out there, at first I thought their only purpose was to delay the first wave while you're building up. Very tricky challenge! Anyone have any good tips?
I can complete the Apprentice level with all the altars intact and no loss of trees in about 12 and a half minutes but the warrior level is really hard! I just get overwhelmed every time. Timing the white trees seems really important as they kill all the invaders when you first plant them. Only works the first time though. You can give yourself more time to build your first defence tree if you complete a white tree just as the first invader spawns. Seems like you have to pick the direction to build towards though and if you choose the right direction 4 times in a row you might be lucky.
Wow. What a lovely game. Sort of reminds me of rymdkapsel in a way. Lots of fun playing my first 2 games. Pleasantly surprised how much I like this game.
Hello everyone! Just to let you know we will be adding new languages to Nanuleu's next update, scheduled to next Thursday. New languages are: Chinese(Simplified), Japanese and Russian. If you want to help us testing the translations write an email to [email protected] We will be also launching on Google Play Store that day. I don't feel like it will be fair giving you some tips, because I'm one of the developers, but If you have other questions or comments I'll be happy to help. And thank you everyone for the comments Cheers.
We're giving away some promo codes here http://forums.toucharcade.com/showthread.php?t=290879 Hope you can get one and try the game
Are the maps also generated different or same game every run ? Still on the fence due to replay ability
The overall shape is the same but tiles in the map and resources are placed differently each run. Also enemies appear from different locations every time you play. Hope it helps Yesterday we released an update with various optimizations and minor adjustments. If anyone tries it, we would love to know what do you think.
This game is featured on the front page of the App Store this week. GRATZ to the devs for that. The game looks incredible. I love that minimalist art style. I'm more a fan of turn based strategy over RTS, but I'm going to give this a try. From reading this thread, it appears that there is really only one mission which can be played on various difficulty levels, as well as achievements to chase after. I'm glad that I know this going in.
Hello everyone, just to let you know that we're releasing a big update of the game this Thursday 17. The update is going to have. - Two new scenarios: Invasion and Counter Attack. This are different maps/levels to play. Each one has two difficulties, Warrior and Sage. - Improvements in how you plant your trees. Now planting on disconnected tiles is allowed. The game automatically generates the required roots to connect your new tree. - Redesign of tutorial and apprentice level. - Now you're able to plant trees over roots. We hope you like this new changes
Hello everyone, I'm sorry to let you know we're delaying Nanuleu's 2.0 update to next Thursday Nov. 24. Thank you for your patience.
Oo just noticed the update coming, this makes me real excited because all I wanted was some type of replay value or veriety, hypeeee
