Try playing the card game of Vampire:Masquerade..It makes MTG and most of the TCG look like child's play..I played the table top game aswell.

How so completely and thoroughly awesome is it that you guys are?!?!!!! Rest assured I'll be naming a price >$0 (over $10, in fact)!

Young Love I don't recall from the game and like quite a bit, so there's additional content than made it into the game? I love when that happens (as long as it's actually _good_, of course, and simply never found a place in the final product)!

Hehe! You might enjoy this read as well... we detail out our entire process to the game development community. Lot's of articles about the making, marketing, and design of Nameless: the Hackers.

    http://gamasutra.com/blogs/author/JamesLiu/906405/

He just released a second article, and we have new "chibi" versions of the Nameless crew :)

Ha ha, that's fun ;-) And of Box-Cat staff? *playful elbow*

Forgive my refusal to be bothered creating a Gamasutra account, but I found particularly insightful that characters' reactions to story provided more creative value than the story itself, in Re-imagining JRPG: for Mobile Touch-Screen (Part 1)—though I guess that's what soap operas are all about and they're awfully popular, aren't they? :O) Since you gave away so little in Nameless thus far, I'd have to say your strategy held true for me.

After reading all your posts to date, I'm relieved I just have to pay and play. The metrics, the strategies, the zillions of people...!*headache* Thanks for making such an original game and I sure hope to see sequels someday.

    Best of luck, Box-Cat!

Holy crap I can't believe they dropped this down to FREE! I'm having so much fun with it that I almost feel guilty.

Right-on! I actually got it free at first, too, near when they launched, and bought the soundtrack later at a price I tried to cover both the game and soundtrack. I understand not everyone has money to throw around, but it's awesome to see someone who enjoys the game bring back some love to the developer responsible for good entertainment, especially since they put forth the the creative effort to produce their innovative take on a card system (more nuanced in a direct sense than Magic, and with potential in subsequent iterations to be applied to enemies in very complex but still easily played ways).

I can't remember what game it was that I also picked up while it was free, but I picked up the "double currency" option it offered as a way to say thanks for a great game. I looked for a donation tab in Nameless before my first post here but didn't see one. Thanks for directing me to the soundtrack to help ease my guilt! lol

Supporting devs needn't be seen as a necessary evil you're cheating to skip. Kickstarter is all about paying for what's not even made yet! :) Until people stop acting like you should apologize to gamers for needing money to make games, people (including both gamers and money men) are unlikely to shed the mentality that casting a wider net should sacrifice game quality which could otherwise have pulled its weight in a premium game. I'm convinced that as portables' performance rivals consoles', eventually—even inevitably—the marketing philosophy will shift to content-centric once again, even if (sadly) that may come somewhat at the expense of touch-centric mechanics.

I beat the game but can't seem to find card 45- Encryption. Anyone have any hints, like it's a prize you get from a city that I can't access anymore?

Also, is there an ending to this game because I didn't see any after beating the boss or omega?

-Kill9 the first turn, keylog, port scan
-Afterwards it's react accordingly to Port Scan
-Kill9 when...Drain Life, Data Recovery, Ban Hammer
Hope that kill9 stuns and Ban Hammer doesn't critical or you're dead.
-Use items like Energy Pack, Cleanup or reboot tool when they Kill9

Lather rinse repeat and hope you have enough evade. Max evade is around 55% accuracy for Omega.

Hey everyone! Thanks for the messages! We're currently busy working on our new game, "Flying Fortress" so sorry about being absent from the forums.

As always, thanks for all your support!

Currently writing story! Whew, the new game is going to have about 108 characters (or even more)... Lots of writing...

Sorry for bringing this old thread, but I guess this is the correct place to ask.

I managed to get every card EXCEPT the infocard #16, the T.A.P.A.S card. where do I get it? or what enemies I must farm to get it? I had days farming enemies on the endgame (after final boss), even doing the pyramids a second time, defeated Omega Boss already, but the darn card seems to evade me.

    Thx in advance.

I've just found it on my second playthrough. Just be alert after you find all the parts of the file. After you find the final part....just read the spoiler. it's not that much of a spoiler, but I decided to put it there because the people might be just beginning the game :p

After you have your first chat with the informant, and appear the next 3 blue objectives, keep doing yellow or red missions and you'll get it (I received it on a yellow mission). I got it before doing the first blue objective.

For some reason, I didn't get it on the end game on my first run, but I received it on my second run, before the final battle. I just hope this helps people having trouble finding this particular card.

For some reason I did, and I honestly cannot remember a thing about it *LOL in embarassment* but wanted to post that I played just once and have it, so people know it's for-sure possible. I almost never _don't_ play side missions between story ones, so I guess I was rewarded :)

Wow, you I wish I were so lucky on my first run... ah well. BTW, I got the TAPAS card from enemies like the whitehat angel (I got my first one with them), blackcrown, and even the CEO's wife.

Now I'm on the endgame, just a few cards away from the complete collection :p

My collection actually is complete (all Ultras). I do remember that I almost always went for the highest-level red ones, without entrance fees if available, though toward the end I started paying the highest, I think...? My memory's pretty hazy...it's been many months since I finished (never the final pyramid, couldn't be bothered)... The reason I don't play is because that end pyramid's complete _arbitrariness_ left a bad taste in my mouth, but I do think it's a solid first effort game witha lot of potential in the battle system and I appreciate that it dares to be a little creative.

Anyone else having an issue with this game running on ios 7.1? I see the text log and character portraits but the top half of the screen is just black.
