Not that it's me I swear, but I love that name. And us females like the frills and storylines not just jump, run unicorn. There has to be a reason for him to jump and run if not he should be named taking a dang nap unicorn! See my point? Make there a reason to be spirited to run and jump ( ever see real horses play? They call them spirited foals for a reason) if you call it run jump unicorn, it's going to sound shallow and generic. Btw, spirit could be the name of the unicorn Watch the Disney movie the last unicorn and bring tissues, then you might get it.
I totally agree....vote for unicorn rush Seriously though, I think something simple like unicorn rush should be the main title because it gets the point of the game over and the subtitle should be Something like spirit of the unicorn
One potential back story I've considered is that Spirit is coming of age and needs to complete the trials of Crystal Island. The trials consist of a series of preset courses for Spirit to master the skills of running, jumping and shooting magic energy balls (need a good name for those too!). The final trial is the endless mode where Spirit is challenged to get as far as possible to prove himself/herself worthy of becoming a protector of Crystal Island. Most definitely! Keep your eyes peeled, but remember it will be a while before this comes out as we are just getting the coding underway (although the art is 90% done). Got the sounds and music underway this week too. I will start an upcoming games thread soon.
OK, the contest is now over and it is time to announce the winners! Kylescorpion and Aussie2 win for the name "Unicorn Rush". We chose "Unicorn Rush" as a slightly modified version of Kylescorpion's "Unicorn Rush: Skies the limit" entry, but Aussie2 also happened to submit "Unicorn Rush" with no additional subtitle.
