i just noticed that some of their games are on sale:

    inspector gadget for $0.99
    star trigon for $0.99
    usa today txtpert for $0.99
rolling 5 dice poker for $0.99
    pole position for $1.99
tamagotchi: 'round the world for $1.99
    alpine racer for $1.99
    time crisis strike for $4.99

in their respective app store pages, mrs. pacman and pacman are also said to be on sale but i don't see any price drops. :)

galaga remix, dig dug remix and i love katamari, though, i think won't have any price drops.

i already have most of these (except alpine, rolling 5 and time crisis) because i love classic games. just got dig dug yesterday. :)

I heard negative things about alpine; is it worth even 99 cents?

Oh yeah, Tamagotchi is 1.99 now, in case the person above didn't notice.

I heard the lite version is about how long the full version will last. Pole Position was also pretty bad control-wise I believe.

Hmm. I do not remember any words on those games, mere speculation is all.

Lol yeah, that's a pretty good game. Quality enough for the price it's at, lol.

$1.99 for Pole Position is a great deal! I would recommend it.

I'd almost be tempted to get Inspector Gadget due to how much I loved the original cartoon :D but I can't seem to find any reviews or any mention on how the controls work. Anyone tried it?

Too bad Dig Dug isn't going for cheap. If it were, I would buy in a heartbeat.

    From The Inspector Gadget Thread:

So it looks like it's a bad game with bad controls...

I'd also snap up Dig Dug if it was priced a little lower, although it's probably worth it's current price.

I downloaded the Lites for Pole Position, Alpine, and got Star Strigon, I enjoyed the lite for that and the game's dirt cheap now.

I've said it before and I'll say it again. How about combining some of these into Museum Packs? Less icons, should we fill one of our 9 screens with Namco classics?

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Namco_Museum

Namco Museum 64 - $10 on Ebay - Release date? 10 years ago
PAC-MAN, MS. PAC-MAN, GALAXIAN, GALAGA, POLE POSITION, and DIG-DUG

Please don't flame; I'm entitiled to my opinion. And yes I grew up in the 80's, and yes I like the classics as much as anyone else.

I bet Pac-Man will be a launch exclusive for Playstation 4

Wonder what these developers are paying Apple to not allow flash - oh right, 30% - I forgot :)

    i totally agree with this.

companies like namco are really cashing in on, albeit classic, titles that really require little development. id wholey welcome classic arcade packs with 5 or 6 titles for 9.99. i remember those ps1 'museum' packs from the likes of capcom and atari to.

i have, however, picked up pole position for nostalgic reasons and its worth its new low price tag. rock hard tho, just like the arcades :)
