N.Y.Zombies (3d zombie action)

    Yeah the largest hurdle with more weapon slots is of course screen real-estate. We wanted a really clean and minimal UI... we COULD go up the side, etc, but it might get too cluttered.

    The other thing is game balance. We've worked the whole game around 6 weapons. If you could equip more then that it may simply become TOO easy. At this point we just wouldn't have the time :/ Also "limiting" your equipment to 6 makes it so you need to really think about what you're equipping (in the harder levels/apocalypse mode anyway), rather then simply just buying a bunch of weapons and owning everything.

    We did try messing around with "special" weapon slots, for ex shake the phone to pull out your melee weapon, that kind of thing... but we felt it was just too unintuitive and lame :)

    Yeah definitely email or post any issues you are having, or any suggestions.

    We are most interested in how well people can do in endless mode (make sure to submit your score!), and whether the "contained infection level" difficulty is too hard or too easy.

    Also we need people to beat the game! Yes I know its long (haha, I hope that's a good thing), but we need opinions on the ending sequence.

    Yeah, along the sides it would be really awkward since you'd be trying to shoot a zombie on the side of the screen and accidentally pull out a gun. Trust me, that quick shot has saved me multiple times. The only things I could think of are shrinking weapon icons, but then we'll be picking the wrong gun every time, and it'd get annoying. Along the top, but that'd just be really annoying to have to reach for every time, and it'd get too in the way. Thinking about it, it's perfect the way it is. Perfect icon size and location. As for the shaking, it sounds like it'd be a bit awkward. Plus, if you had to shake to swipe (like in Resident Evil: The Umbrella/Darkside Chronicles) it'd really mess up your aim, and probably get you killed from not being able to see the minimap. Yeah, things are fine as is.

    And I'll see what I can do about beating the game this weekend. I have (ANOTHER) essay to write for Monday on a book I'm only on Chapter 3 in, but it shouldn't be too much, so I'll probably be able to sit down and beat it. Plus I just got Transformers G1 and BIA 2 and will either get GTA or a Final Fantasy game this weekend most likely, but I'll find the time.

    And to make things easier, I've downloaded a program called App Backup so I can carry save data from one build to another. So I can start from the lobby level once I update to the latest build with the endless mode fixed.
