Just an update for everyone out there, this game will rock your socks off (if the zombies haven't already scared them off you)! I can't go into specifics, but, there is some pretty awesome things going on right now. You will LOVE it!

If it wasn't for that Modern Combat 4 thread ... This thread woulda probably had a little more focus. But now all the good commenters/thread posters are all over MC4. Focus on NYZ2 too ! It's coming out soon !
There hasn't been a lot of hype because some of us have been beta testing the game and due to a mutual agreement with the developer, we are not allowed to divulge information... but I will say this, I'm a huge zombie fan on PC and iOS and this game is really good. IMO, it overtakes the original and the great thing about this game is that is a challenge, you have to strategize, just like in a real apocalypse type situation.... That' s all I can say for now but the devs really do care about their product so when it releases it will be well worth the wait.
Beta is going great! We've had some people put some serious time in already in just a week (10-13 hours), so that's a good indication of how much game-play you'll be looking at for a single playthrough as well. We've also officially raised the co-op player limit to 3... had a blast playing in-house the other night We're just fixing up some last things - about to send out beta v2 - but we actually are hoping to submit within a week - so stay tuned for an official release date... its getting close! I'll also probably post a more game-play focused video as well, which will showcase some of the action and game-play style for those interested
IS THE MULTIPLAYER CO-OP ONLY ONLINE OR ALSO BLUETOOTH/LOCAL WI-FI? IF IT'S ONLINE CO-OP, THEN PLEASE ADD A TEXT CHAT OPTION. Sorry for all caps but that's kinda important to me.
I think its online only... have to check with the tech guys to be sure As for text chat, that would be kind of impossible - you wouldn't get much of a breather to be able to type much! What could be cool though would be to add some pre-canned text messages via pop down menu (help me, follow me, i need a medkit, etc)... enough to cover anything you'd want to say. We're also working on voice chat, but that won't make it for release :/
