As far as I can understand, the world is not fully open, but instead the game is based in levels like in NYZ, except the levels will be larger, and there will be freedom of movement. In short The entire game is not just one huge open sandbox world. It is rather divided into levels kind of like arenas in which an objective must be completed.
That's the way I'm taking it as well. For instance if your in time square it looks like cars will block you from moving passed them. In sence making each level like a arena.
Deffienetly can be game of the year stuff here. This is by far the most I've been excited about a iOS game. Can't wait. Please release now!
Will coop support 3G? I must admit here in NY City I'm getting great dl/ul speeds that can deff handle it
I don't know if you played the first one but if you have you know the character couldnot move. Only turn in a 360 direction. And with only that, it's one of my favorite games of all time. Being able to have limited movement in a enclosed arena is going to be truly amazing. It's gonna add a world of depth the the game. Can't wait
The first one can officially be considered an iOS classic. The atmosphere in it was downright creepy. It's really the only on rails, I suppose, shooter that I've enjoyed. The trailer definitely captured the previous atmosphere with that creepy foreboding music. Add in a free movement character and open levels (along with the great list of character tree, coop, ironsight and more) and this game will be another instant classic.
If I can get a copy of this game today I think I would give $100 for it. My phone is in need of a new game.
