I agree with that request, you can add a fire button but with the possibility to choice if left or right (like dead trigger). I think it's far better than double tap because double tap make the aim not so perfect. Thanks
By the way, last night I came SO close to playing multiplayer. GC auto-matched me with somebody, and it actually loaded successfully and was going ok for about 4 seconds but then suddenly the zombies froze and the other dude froze... :/ so close...
Re: multiplayer connectivity issues... I think it will be unreliable for a while until the majority of people update to the newest version (we're seeing about 30% updated so far, which is normal for 2 days). If you're seeing the other guy freeze, its likely that he hasn't updated... you're connecting just fine, but he may still be on the old version. Historically it takes nearly a week for most people to update, and even then there is a long trickle effect. Maybe tomorrow if anyone's down during the day we can try to organize a match and see what happens. As for subway/difficulty level... Remember, one of the whole points of NYZ2 is that your equipment load-out matters... a rifle for ex serves a very specific purpose - to deal high damage to larger enemies (while it is NOT good for crowd control or fending off lesser enemies), the shotgun more for clearing out large groups in tight quarters, etc... I know its not quite like other games where you can just power your way through with the same equipment the whole game (its possible, just going to be much harder) - there is some strategic planning involved, based on your situation and the enemies you fight. On my playthroughs (Hard mode) I had to switch load-outs nearly every level in order to beat them. To me, this experimentation, planning, and bit of strategy is a huge part of the charm of the NYZ franchise. In more defensive based missions like the subway, I had success with auto turrets (save them for the rock clearing part), .50 cal rifle (can get a lot of multiple kills since its such tight quarters), and then shotgun and gas mask (there are a lot of infectors and slimers once in the flooded tracks, and gives you +50 health)...
See, this is what I thought, but right after the update came out my friend and I downloaded it, and tried out a game, but on my friends iPod it kept crashing right after the loading screen. He has a 4th gen running iOS 6.0.1. On my 3rd gen running iOS 4 it loaded fine, but kept crashing for him... He restarted his iPod too, still kept crashing. I'm down to try oranizing a match with you guys! Really wanna try multiplayer!
Awesome! Hope you enjoy it as much as I am! I've already beat it once on normal, now I wanna play through again on Hard! Maybe we can play some multiplayer sometime!
I own and play this about 30 minutes to an hour a day. And i am going to upgrade to a new device, So I am asking advice from people who have one, or both. Is this game easier to play on the iPod touch5g, or the ipad mini? I want to know.
First impressions As a cod zombies player I was hesitating over whether this would be as fun. But this game has better graphics and an in depth storyline as well as journal pages to collect . This game has earned a permanent space on my iPod 4g. Well worth £1.49/$1.99.
My first few attempts I used the pistol (fully upgraded), shotgun (fully upgraded), revolver (level 2), and the M16 (level 2 - I think). I made it to what I thought was the end, where the NPC clears the second set of rocks, but then he died right before I could reach the marker.
Okay where the hell is the tunnel you must escape down at the end of the shit fest sub way level? I can't see a damn thing - is it straight ahead, to the left, right?
darn Ninjakid, It loads up the screen on my zombies, then crashes before the game starts. do you have the latest update on your ipod. I'm going to do a hard reset on my ipod. If you do the same maybe we'll have a shot at this mp thing.
There is a ladder in the back right, next to the smashed subway car... you're right, should probably add an arrow there. As for multiplayer... ok, so the main issue seems to be some people crashing more than connectivity... that might make more sense and help us track it down. I'm pretty sure if you have connectivity issues (i.e. you're connecting but a player is frozen), than all is good, its just that guy probably hasn't updated. If there is a constant crash, that of course is a different issue. We haven't experienced any of the crashes on our test devices (including iPod Touch 4), so we might be asking someone to send along their crash logs, if at all possible.
Yeah, I can definitely confirm multiplayer IS working... just played another match a second ago, lasting about 5 minutes We'll do some serious testing next week to see if we can get to the bottom of why some people are crashing...
Just played the new control method. While I was a huge fan of the original method, I must say I love the new method as well. Great job FM
