Can't wait for updates.. X> but i'm not sure if i should update or not >_> some games will crash alot after update...( looking at you, Eternity Warriors 2 )
A gamer whose been playing IOS Games for over 2 years and knows what controls work best for FPS Games!? And who are you to judge me anyway ?
What about short sprints like in COD:BOZ? In NYZ2, if I ever get stuck in between some zombs and after clearing the path in front of me, I'd love to quickly run away for a while to recover. But most of the time, I usually end up dying anyway since I can only walk away slowly.
Sorry to tell you but iOS gaming for 2 years does not qualify as experience in FPS "proper" controls. I've been playing since I was 6, FPS have always been my favorites and there's nothing wrong with the controls in this game in my opinion, my only complaint was the movement speed but I got a hold of it. They're different yes, but I think most people here find them appropriate since they're basically an "upgrade" from the 1st game, and they work. Infinity project 1 & 2, Mission Europa, Duke nukem, Doom, THOSE are bad FPS controls.
I still cant figure out the "find medic pack" missions. I mean i cant find any. what do they look like?
Please make them harder. People need to understand this game is not suppose to be easy. It kind of reminds me of ninja gaiden. As much as I wanted to quit playing, I stuck through it and it was a great experience. If you chose the right weapons for a level, you won't have much trouble beating it. I truly enjoyed the game and I'm looking forward to the update.
Run all the way to the back of the field. There should be a big circle you'll see. The best advice I can give is first get the guy by the cars. Then as soon as you enter the park turn left and speak to the 2nd one. Then the third is on the right hand beginning part of the field. Talk to him then sprint backwards towards the back of the field. The reason you run backwards is because you'll have to protect your teammates.
Just that. I like the difficulty of this game. Dead Trigger was a boring game to me because it seems really easy to kill the zombies and painless to continue playing. I like the challenge of NYZ2.
You'll be surprised! I've almost always see it sitting underneath some giant-sized zombie. You'll have to kill it to get it and bring it back to the patient-who-never-gets-hurt-nor-dies.
Also, did you know that items show up on your mini map as white dots? As you're looking around, make sure to keep one eye on the mini map!
Am I the only one getting motion sickness from playing this game? Probably due to the fast turns needed to face incoming zombies.
Almost got 100 gold bar things. What should I get with them? Thinking about getting the Brain Bomb since I loved that thing in NYZ1. What's the best thing to get for 100 gold?
Not even close. The game was approved for sale a month before Halloween. We had a month long beta before that, and we've been hearing for the past 2.5 years (when NYZ 1 was released) that a huge amount of players wanted free roam (we even took numerous polls, and that was always the #1 request for a sequel). Those assumptions are really just offensive, especially based on our track record of working closely with our fans to give them what they want. Trust me, I wish I could snap my fingers for this update to hit, because I do think it'll solve most peoples' problems with the introduction of a more classic control scheme... but I mean ultimately if you're that bitter and want us to fail that bad because of a lackluster control scheme that will be fixed in a week, then... thanks for your input ---- Look, the reason the controls may not be what some are used to (or I'll admit, have some issues), is because we were reluctant to change too much from the first. The controls are a spitting image of the first game, with an added move stick. We wanted to keep the feeling of the first, while adding what an overwhelming amount of people wanted: free roam. We were obviously TOO reluctant to change direction from the first... what happened is a hybrid control scheme that doesn't work well for some, especially on iPad, and especially those who are used to traditional FPS controls. We've got the new control scheme in, and I think... I hope that a lot of people will update and really start being able to enjoy the game... because when all is said and done, we obviously think NYZ2 is an awesome game, just marred by some short-sighted control decisions. In the end, we do thank all of you for your criticisms... it makes us that much more motivated to fix every possible issue... because we actually do care, believe it or not. We've been working day and night since launch to get this update out!
