In my opinion Dead Trigger is a good enough zombie shooter on mobile. If you think otherwise then its your own opinion (which you are allowed to have). Strange you have to mention Halo and Gears of War. What relation does it have to one, zombie-themed games and two, both are not on this platform. Might as well list down all the lifetime greats like Zelda, Metal Gear Solid and such.
Yeah...and people seem to forget that IRL, shooting, in nearly any situation not involving the use of a horse or vehicle, is done when still.
sound? i'm having audio problems with the game, i can't hear any sound at all. i have to turn off my device & turn it back on to get sound.
It's not strange he mentioned Halo or GOW...I think he listed those just to show as examples of games which have become such high caliber overly popular greats that people and the media usually end up attaching "killer" to...how many times have we heard the term Halo Killer? GOW killer, etc.? Those games have become so big that the media deservingly uses terms like Halo Killer constantly and every time I hear "killer", its always attached to those extremely big games. Psykik was a bit harsh, but I think he has somewhat of a point...Dead Trigger is decent, but even to me it was strange to hear Dead trigger killer.
Same here. I tried playing it on my retired iPhone 4 with the latest OS and it was smooth in some levels, but really laggy in others. Controls are pretty bad on the big screen it has constantly made me die. I hope the update comes soon.
Sometimes when I try to shot, I mistakenly move the camera instead. I would say it would be better if the center of the screen would be disabled to move the camera and maybe use it better just to shot?
So is it a game like Dead Trigger where you have to kill x amount of zombies in a tiny area and then move on to the next level, or is it actually a "proper" FPS like say L4D?
I'm curious, so we can make some more informed decision, are the people having difficulty with the controls almost all playing on iPad? Also, if you have iOS 5, you may be having issues connecting to multiplayer. Next update will fix this! ETA on update may be submitted as early as today, but more likely in the next few days!
Jamie, I can't connect to multiplayer and I have iOS 6? Will this be fixed next update. I have an iPod touch 4G, iOS 6. I'm just curious has anyone been playing MP, I just would like to know how is it?
I get what you're saying. The term "killer" might be a tad exaggerated but I was merely putting DT up because it's the best zombie shooter on this platform. If he or you or any other person think otherwise, please provide your own example instead of criticizing my own personal opinion. Isn't that way more constructive? We can have a mature discussion then. I trust most people here are well educated. Anyway examples should be on the same grounds so it's like comparing apples to oranges if one were to put Resident Evil or something. Cheers.
I don't really like the game... I don't know, maybe it's the controls, maybe it's the graphics or the gameplay itself. I just have to get a good fix of COD Zombies after each mission in NYZ 2...
As for controls. Playing on iphone 4. I like to 180 degree turn. Its hard to do while moving an with a dynamic stick i think there should be another way to do it like a full swipe from left to right or something. Like a quick swipe. Or something. One little thing that bothers me is you can shoot your gun after the loading but the screen is still black. The screen says tap to shoot and if i tap twice or it will shoot my gun before i even on the balck screen.
You can tap the mini map once to do a 180 degree turn as well - this is the quickest way to do it on smaller devices.
