Well they talked about having voice chat, and I don't see the point in having voice chat for local multiplayer, lol.
And why would they make an online multiplayer update for MC: Sandstorm and not include it in Nova from release? Nova is just as hyped as MC: Sandstorm, if not more. I am pretty sure that it will include online multiplayer.

 

dude watch the keynote and you will know it will have multiplayer and voice chat
