Unfortunately, those "fixes" didn't improve the game enough to be widely playable. The UPNP error still seems to be stopping most people from playing, and I personally can't even join a game. But even so, NOVA's single-player looks good enough that I'll buy it anyway.
WHY is Gameloft having such a hard time updating it?! Seriously?! Why can't they just use Eliminate's solution? I do not think that NOVA's online capability will work.... Unless they fix MC:S online, then I am not going to get NOVA..... I think a lot of us should message gameloft about the problems.
Maybe Ill rate it 2 stars, for me WORKING multiplayer is a big part of the package, for me Multiplayer outweighs single player.. if I buy a game I expect it to work... I expect multiplayer to work, I do NOT expect to pay for any Beta nonsense... not sure why i should even validate this, but why play Eliminate then? Sure its cool to play through the story, but when it only lasts for like 2.5 hours, I got to multiplayer for longevity. Unless we can expect DLC packs for single player. Even then, the game loses that freshness... Like I said before, I am not paying for ANY 'beta' features. And if they aren't working when the game comes out I'll just assume its broken and rate gameloft on their effort accordingly, as they deserve from a paying customer. amendmum: they can get away with this for MC because it was not really sold with multiplayer in-mind, even though it sits on my iTouch with a teal border saying 'MULTIPLAYER' underneath the icon... NOVA is being sold with multiplayer, imagine buying any other FPS sold with multiplayer, and then it doesnt work... imagine the ratings, I dont see why others lower their standards so easily, and get pushed around by Gameloft
I'll be buying it for the single player alone, am not that fussed about multi. Was hoping to take down a few colleagues in a doom deathmatch, but no one seems that bothered anyway

I'm getting really tired of these posts and I wish people could turn on their little soft dirty slushy brains and use some common sense.
Why would you release a product that doesn't work properly? It's illegal (maybe not in digital distribution though).
thats what i hate most... i dont have upnp and i still rated 5 stars... if single player is great then why rate like only 2 stars? mc s had an average of 4 and a half stars at the beginning. now it is almost 3!! btw is the new mc:s update downloadable in the app store? because if, i dont see it and i still have upnp problems.
