really? i thought only cydia apps can do that
volume buttons could be a big help
while for the IPT 1G,they can just use the touch control
though using those buttons regularly may break it ;)

no external buttons, the iphone has been amazing about this... I personally don't want to deal with any external controls

I'm just waiting for this. Most iPhone games are disposable, kiddy junk.

Won't work on 3G like Eliminate? Thats a bummer. Guess you won't be to "bring it anywhere, anytime" Maybe NGMoco should tell Gameloft how to set up their servers. :p

maybe you should try to figure outhow laggy it will be on 3G...
the sheer amount of data is too much. you forgot novas maps are larger and the graphics are much more detailed.

the detail is not the thing transmitted through the network, its the players locations in the map and collisions, stats, etc
Its not crunching 3d visuals through a network - even Wi-fi couldn't handle that.
I don't think it would be any more laggy than Eliminate, and its still only 4 players, from what I understand.

    Yeah only 4 players.
But the massive maps (at least on MC: Sandstorm) and the teams make up for it and will make it better than Eliminate.

I think the bigger maps are the problem with Sandstorm, too hard to find the other team. Regardless, I am excited about it, and I'll purchase day 1 to see what its all about. I hope its awesome. :)

I'm pretty sure this is coming after Avatar.

and also, the not playing on 3G thing is probably AT&T's fault

Has anybody noticed how easy it is to kill/die in MC:S multiplayer?
I hope they fix that with nova.

Shot to the head = Insta dead, Standing next to grenade when it goes off= Insta dead, Hit by rocket = Insta dead, Shot by gun a few times = Dead as expected. I think it's working as entended.

It's supposed to be like that. I hope they keep it like that. Then it takes skill to be good.
