I dislike the controls. I really like Eliminate's, will they have any other options for the controls? I hate that you have to take your finger of to shoot and tap. I really like the auto shoot, so user-friendly.
Several previews mentioned Metroid when talking about the powerups but that link can go much further. Some of the level designs could be straight out of Metroid Prime. Much of the spaceship, especially the glass corridors that can be seen in the STP and TouchGen vids or the snow level that is so totally Phendrana Drifts from MP1. The locking of rooms until enemies are defeated too is a Prime style tactic. And TouchGen even said the game required him to backtrack through a level, which is a very Metroid style thing. And then there's the boss battles. From what pocketgamer said, they sound straight out of Metroid Prime and certainly set the game apart from Halo. I hope they are as epic as some of MP1's boss battles because having recently replayed that game, they are insanely cool.
Maybe, but with a handheald with no real buttons it is quite nice to have as an option, maybe not for multi player games but at least offline it should be a choice. Anyway the automatic shooting in Eliminate has a delay as it does not shoot instantly, making manual shooting still better.
When I first heard about this game I thought "oh, its by Gameloft. They'll make sure they go as fast as they can to make it, and then it will suck". But after seeing the videos, i'm impressed. The graphics are probably Gameloft's best, the controls look good and the music is great. I will definitely buy this game ASAP. Good luck Gameloft!
you can just use the auto-aim of Gameloft anyway,i thought i will have 12 levels now it's just 10, i won't complain though coz it's a lot cheaper than console games and the online multiplayer will do the trick
quick 3 ? will there be save like when i dont feel like doing the whole level like check point save, also how easy was the game some videos look like the game was hard and some easy like the evil guys was dogging in one video and another they wasent last will there be coop cause touch arcade said 1/2 players blutooth
My guess is that it'll be released either today or Friday, latest. Are there any other Gameloft games that have online modes? I have Real Football 10 and that's extremely laggy, unplayable. How are their other games? I hope this one doesn't lag.
