I'm actually kinda glad it's multiplayer only. Maybe they can make an even better mutliplayer mode. I've never really played any FPS's campaign anyway.
my guess: not for idevices. NOVA form of MC: Domination only explanation for shape, no on-screen controls, multiplayer only, and worse graphics. And to think I was excited....
Didn't someone else say there weren't no on-screen controls to keep the screen less cluttered on the trailer? But i doubt it's a console game because MC: Domination didn't do so well and when they announced MCD they said it was PSN right away if i remember right. I could be wrong though.
my theory to the low grahics, is that since gameloft (might) want to make this a freemium game, more people will be downloading it. therefore, they have to make the file size alot smaller to appeal to a more wider audience.
You guys know that in game development polishing the game (aka adding nice textures and graphics) come near the end right? Thats why the trailer isnt really all that sharp compared to NOVA 2. Look at any game Gameloft developed and you'll see that textures are left last because gameplay is more important in the beginning. So we'll probably see a higher resolution game at the end. Just compare all their trailers to the actual game, and you'll see the difference.
Anyone else think this might be a Mac App Store release? That's my guess (or maybe it's just wishful thinking).
Worse graphics? Look at the game! World looks more polished plus look at the player models 10 times better then nova 2 models... Plus real time shadows! But I think they play this game on some how xperia play or other platform. But not psn because in the tags of the video there is iphone android!
The screen posted is not the same resolultion as an iPhone game. It looks like more a screen on your pc 4:3
Elite may not have amazing textures but notice how it has full dynamic lighting on the character and more of a 3D feeling to it.

Nothing new. Many articles have assumed that it's for iOS and that it's multiplayer only. But we haven't had confirmation from Gameloft yet.
Just a small part of the email i received today: "Hello, N.O.V.A. Near Obit Vanguard Alliance: Elite is now live on Facebook at http://apps.facebook.com/novafps" so.. it's just a Facebook app, but it's cool. I've been playing it for months.
That link also said that that I might be able to hook up to the T.V., like Real Racing 2 HD. Maybe that's why the setup of the screen looks different, because it was being played off an iPad connected to the T.V.
lol, I thought something was up. It's no real surprise to me that it's not an iOS game when the aspect ratio is square, there are no on-screen controls and the graphics look worse than NOVA 2. Now we wait for NOVA 3.....
