Well there's a good chance that they are making it. It's one of their most successful franchises.

Well personally, something looks different about the graphics, but I can't tell what.

This is definitely Unreal Engine. I hope you didn't expect a game that looks like Infinity Blade right? But I really think the iPad 2 can do muuuch more better than the graphics in that trailer.. Too bad HD versions are just ported iPhone versions. It looks good though, insta-buy for me. I expect it before Easter.

have you guys realized that this probably isnt an ios game?
i think its prbly for the ps3
    look at the trailer
    no sticks for movement,
the ammo and stuff is at the bottom of it
    etc etc

Only for demo purposes. It allows you to see more of the gameplay, sticks just get in the way for a trailer.

Nowhere, just look at it. That can't be Gameloft's 2 year old engine..

It could be their updated engine that they used in 'Shadow Guardian'. That's an amazing engine.

It could easily be one of Gameloft engines (which they keep on updating). The graphics in the trailer don't look like an improvement from NOVA 2, in fact I'd say it looks worse than NOVA 2. I really don't think this is using the Unreal Engine.

Just to show you what I mean.

As you can see, there is a BIG difference in texture quality

And what's up with the squareish aspect ratio and lack of on-screen controls?

It looks like quake arena engine to me. Doesn't have any Unreal 3 'characteristics'.

Watch, they might incorporate 8 vs. 8 team deathmatch due to the texture quality.

For me, NOVA 2 multipayer performance is shocking at times, does simple textures reall make such a big difference?

Man I'm just disapointed this ain't UE. I'm kinda sick of Gameloft's engine.

Not really...textures are a memory issue...and NOVA 2 wasn't exactly a RAM raper to begin with...so I don't see why they would do this.

Sure higher res textures require more power to process but unless there is a bottleneck in the iOS bus system the difference is small.

Same. All I see is low quality textures, no physics, fake lighting, etc.
