I think when it says Elite they probably mean that its co-op missions, like they did in Rainbow Six. I mean, everyone loved the co-op, it was the first time an iOS game did that. So Im pretty sure they'll do the same here. Its gonna have multiplayer one way or another, no doubt, but why show a picture with 3 guys if its just gonna be a multiplayer-only game? doesnt make sense to me (plus why not 2? or 4? or 6? 3 was in Rainbow six, 3's gonna be NOVA Elite)
The Modern Combat games sell better though, looking at the AppStore... (Also, I think they are better than the NOVA games.) I definetly didn't love or even like the co-op in rainbow six, it's so annoying when on a stealth mission the other players run into every security system forcing us to restart the level.
Yeah, I also like the Modern Combat games better then the NOVA games. I prefer the whole military theme and the stories are more realistic and better. Which is why I enjoy Call of Duty more then Halo. Assassin's Creed would be incredible if it used the Unreal Engine. They would make a whole 3D world... and wow, it would just be great. In my opinion the Gameloft games that should utilize the Unreal Engine should be Gangstar, MC, NOVA, and Assassin's Creed. I'm actually going to make a thread about this!
Now that I think about it, maybe it will be a multiplayer class-based shooter. That would might be another explanation for the 3 people on the teaser banner.
I don't like the N.O.V.A. series but if this has Infinity Blade graphics and a good multiplayer, it's an instabuy for me.
why do people think it wont have any campaign? i thought that was the basis of the game, with other things like multiplayer and possibly co-op, on top.
This is probably going to be a PSN game like Modern Combat: Domination. Way too early for a NOVA 2 sequel.
Is it really the unreal engine? It's a bit tough too see on that video. Also very soon does it means this month?
I don't have much experience with the Unreal Engine, but that did definitely look much improved from NOVA 2.
I don't think so, the graphics in that video look worse than NOVA 2. Modern Combat 3 and NOVA 3 will probably be the 2 games this year that use UE3.
Ok so a few things...did you guys notice that there was always a timer in the top right hand corner? or that almost all the enemies had names? Or that every kill got you points? Maybe this is a multiplayer only game...
