Been playing this on an Ipad 4 and in the 3rd level (sand level) it run horribly. I know for the Ipad 3 they made it where you can adjust the retina res or some of the effects, is this not an option on the Ipad 4, I looked all over?

I just started playing this on my iPad 4 and it isn't saving my unlocks from online and my rank and XP isn't saving either. Anyone run into this and/or have a solution?

I would look through this forum but with a 134 pages I though I'd just ask my questions here.

How does this look on iPod touch 4g?

How much space does it take up?

    Thanks

  7. It doesn't have any of the fancy effects, but it is still a good-looking game

I believe it uses about 1.7 GB, I'm probably wrong though

I've never played any of these games, but wasn't a big fan of MC3. Is it worth my buck? Playing on a 5th gen iPod.

    Edit: is it in 16:9?

No and no. No widescreen support, awful framerate. Even on A5 devices this runs really badly. I wouldn't get it.

Maybe I'll pass then or at least wait for a widescreen update. It's not like this is the only time it will be on sale and there are a lot of games coming out or going on sale that will be better.

I like the game,it's fun and it runs fine on A5 I play on iPod 5 and I get a good frame rate-just reboot after its done installing if you feel insecure and you should be fine

Just picked up this game and I'm addicted to InstaGib - its fair and I'm good at it! But I was wondering does the iPod 5 have voice chat? I heard it was only for iPhone 4S and the new iPad, and I wanted to make sure its not for iPod 5.

If I sync the version I currently have on my laptop (1.0.1) onto my iPad, does anyone have any idea if I update to 1.0.2...would that be through a delta update or just a regular 'download the entire app again' update?

Does that make any sense? >_>

I think it'll be a delta update rather than downloading the entire thing again.
At least when I updated from 1.0.1 to 1.0.2 on iPad and iPhone, it ran very fast, too fast to be the full app download again.
If you update it on iTunes on the computer, it'll be the entire thing again.
I hope I'm right about that but I do distinctly remember thinking, at the time I updated, that it had to be a delta update simply by how quickly it ran through it, that it couldn't have been the full app size of data.

Pretty sure it's a delta update, but iTunes is being such a piece of crap on my devices. :/ Screw it, my bandwidth is free after 11 (right now), so I'll just do all my updates on the PC. *sigh*

Seems a new update is out. Is the performance flawless now on ipad 4 devices? It used to have slight hitches here and there

  18. Jbruu reports no changes in ipad 4 version. HUGE changes in ipad 3 version, I'll do a writeup about it tomorrow on the ipad 4 thread in the ipad gaming section. If you are an ipad 3 owner, WOW!

Why not just put it in here if its about this on iPad 3 and not on the iPad 4?
I'm not saying where you should but wouldn't it be more relevant here.

  20. The post actually is about alot of stuff like ipad 4 vs ipad 3, gameloft duo joystick and airplay. So I think I'll put it there. I will put a link here too for ya. Big news on the ipad 3 front with this game though.
