Exactly what I'm afraid of but I think with iCloud and the retina complaints we may see one update in June when  release ios6

    Haha lol.

Try dead space, gta or shadowgun while your waiting for the update. All very good games.

Is that it? No optimizations or resolution options for older devices? I'm going to be pissed as hell if something isn't done about the horrible framerate and fog.

finally got my ipad2 back from repair (broken mute switch) and the difference between i4 and ipad2 is pretty incredible. It still looks impressive on i4, but on ipad2 more effects are turned on, especially focal depth and field of view. Liking this game a lot :)

The more I play, the more I realize this game is the sh*t ! If I'm not playing PC games, this is the game I want to play on Mobile.

I know I've read a few posts on the Jetpacks and Hackers.

First of all Jetpacks are pretty cool. To have that function on the iphone is crazy. Yes, the Jetpacks combined with an RPG may be unbeatable but the only solution is to keep saving up your coins to get a jetpack yourself. Can you imagine games of 6 players with jetpacks ! I'm glad the jetpack is in the game. Also if your getting your butt kicked by one of those guys. Just play another map.

As far as Hackers go, the hell with em. Don't let them ruin your fun. This game is too awesome, to let them spoil it for you. Just find a bunch of friends and play private, which is also a solution if you don't want Jetpacks. Make a private game without them.

Couple questions, is Gameloft doing anything about the hacking situation? and how long is the campaign in Nova 3?? Thanks !

    *chuckles sympathetically*

Well how about we work on some gta mods? So far I have:

    -Imported different cars
    -modded handling for various cars
    -enabled antialiasing
    -added more blood
-added floating newspapers around the city
-added tire skid marks, bloodand dirt skids
    -added advanced reflections on cars
    -revamped particle system
    -hd roads
-modded the dodo so you can fly it easier

Any of those interest you? I still have the files, I think.

Would love to get some of the more advanced mods like flyable helicopters and more maps and gang wars and the vice city mod. If you have any exerperience that it would help...

You iPad 3 (retina) owners should see the convos I'm having with GL support. I'm telling them they shouldn't have released a retina version in the universal app if it wasn't ready for the prime time. We all watched and oooh and awedd their promos with all the effects and then they don't even make version for the new and latest hardware that includes them. I told them they should have left out the retina until it was ready because our iPads would automagically upscale the ipad2 version and there wouldn't be any issues.

Anyone hear if iControlPad support will come at some point? It seems to be the only bluetooth controller that supports dual analog joysticks (if the developer uses 'Special Packet Mode'). I am very tempted to get that controller now that some games are starting to use the special packet mode.

May need Blutrol to get it to work, in which case you need to be jailbroken. I use Blutrol on my ipad2 with my icade for some games like SFIV.

Little to long but quite amusing...maybe try jail breaking and using display recorder? That way no thumbs in the way

Though as it is it's surprisingly easy to see what's happening.

It works without jailbreaking iOS. VertexBlaster 2.0 supports dual analog controls with icontrolpad. No jailbreak needed. That is what is getting me into using the device since it supports dual analog without jailbreak and it is bluetooth. I somehow missed all the news on this controller in the past and recently learned about it.

Yeah I know, I would jailbreak but I don't want to void my warranty seeing as my devices have broken multiple times :/ but thanks for the input anyways!

jailbreaking DOES NOT void your warranty. just restore before bringing to applecare if something breaks.
