...and once again, I will be waiting to purchase this because Gameloft insists on releasing the iPad version of their games at some unannounced later date. While I have 2 iPhone's and an iPod Touch, I have ZERO desire to buy both the iPhone and the iPad version of any game. Given a choice, I buy the iPad version of games 10 times out of 10. Gameloft makes me nuts. --DotComCTO
i was tossed up between reviewing Real Racing 2 or Aralon but now NOVA 2 comes into it =( maybe ill review none and play them all!
yeah, I've figured that 4 players isn't that bad if the TA community plays competitively against each other, which is the only reason I liked the multiplayer of Reckless racing.
10 MULTIPLAYER MAPS! Man, I'm hyped for this. The new guns look awesome and 10 player online and ranking like MC2. I always play campaign and beat it but multiplayer's the best bit! I don't care if people think the graphics look crap compared to Infinity Blade cause my iPod can't run it! At least Gameloft develops for all devices.
There are, actually. In the description of the Youtube video that gameloft posted on their twitter, account, one of the things that it says is: "Now with up to 10 players in 10 multiplayer maps"
Indeed, One of the big things that I felt was lacking in the first N.O.V.A. was the unpolished, and rather small-scaled, multiplayer, which in turn really limited the replayability of the game. But with ten maps and up to ten players in each map, along with the multiplayer-career building aspect they've included, it really adds to the game's staying power (and it'll make it a heck of a lot more fun!!).
A while back. Those claimed that there were 10 maps and 6 player multiplayer. After that the number of maps weren't mentioned, just 10 player multiplayer. Thanks for the clear up though.
NOVA 2 looks good, but i'm not loving the "Extra bonuses" if you had played the previous title. Extra bonuses? Towards....multiplayer? hopefully not. Wouldn't be fair to the newcomers, plus i wouldnt be surprised if that "bonus" unbalanced the PvP. How would we even achieve these bonus? If single player do we gotta play at extreme difficulty? Or say multiplayer, which isn't any good now due to hackers I read about on multiple sites. So many questions! >.<"
