Instead of moving from still image to still image, you‘re now freely moving in a 3D world. Also, they added randomizing solutions as an option, which means while all puzzle structures remain the same, specific solutions can vary. I haven't played Myst since the family and I all gathered around the 386 and made a group effort of beating it back in '94, so I probably wouldn't remember the solutions even without randomization. Here's hoping an Unreal Engine remake of Riven is coming, as I've never made it far into it and have always been interested to give it another go. Collin likes this. Love it they’ve made it all 3d. Impressive. Haven’t a clue what I’m doing as I’m bad at games like this my only gripe is the text which appears at the top is tiny. Can’t read it ! Back in my day, we used to have to revisit every world and walk the red and blue pages out one by one, uphill both ways! This is really great. Just about perfect. If I were to gripe, I’d say that I wish the note/photo taking interface was more robust, and I feel the CG characters aren’t great and some is lost from the original FMV. anthony78 Well-Known Member Nov 13, 2015 3,128 704 113 #12 anthony78, Feb 12, 2023 Says 33% of the unlock. I’ll probably update eventually. When enough newer games require it.
