Sounds like the contest was rigged with no intent of rewarding any real contestants. I'll bet the person who won was part of the company holding the contest. These types of "contests" with no real intent of a payout are getting more and more frequent. As long as the kids screenshots are legit, he should of won.
This contest does seem to be legit since Webs.com mentions the contest on their site, and they are a pretty large company, so it would not be unlikely to have a promotion like this. The issue though is that the rules state that spamming will get you disqualified which you seem to be guilty of.
A few is commonly regarded as less than 10(You tweeted a lot more than that). and in one of your tweets you say something along the lines of "I'm done spamming" so you were technically disqualified, they have every right to not give you the iPad.
Don't worry qasim, an over-priced, extra large iPod Touch with no new features to speak of, isn't worth the headache. Unless you're planning on selling it on ebay of course...
this sucks man. the company should suck it up and give you a device as well. i am running my own contest; and if i screwed up like that - i would do the right thing. the issue with doing "time" based competitions is that the company needs to be 100% clear as to which time-zone they are using as well. you may be in a different time-zone to them; so while you may be closest in your case; if you apply the time-zone difference - you may be off by hours. was the competition PST (pacific) or MDT? did you take into consideration daylight saving? other? something to check out - the error still may be on your side; as you may be seeing tweets in local time. LOL. I prefer the iPad. I checked it out at the Apple Store and it's incredible. Besides, Flash isn't really that big of a deal. The only legit complaint I would have is multitasking.
I don't think being upset about being cheated is called being a brat. I only posted about 20 times in the entire 24 hours.
