I don't know what happened. I've tryed all of my available chargers. My phone doesn't react to being plugged into anything, and I only have 32% charge. I use it all the time and I want to be able to charge it and use it. What do I do?
I didn't know I could manually replace an iPhone 3gs battery! It seems to have died immediately after I posted the message and now it's (hopefully) booting up. EDIT: now I have the ALoD. DAMN
I believe that if you are still under warranty, then Apple will replace the battery for you for free.
I'm gonna vote the JB, batteries generally don't start working again. (though I did short circuit my PSP and freeze my laptop and both of those recovered)
I would suggest backing up and being unjailbroken for a week or two. Just in case everything isn't ok, so that apple doesn't question you...
